(Tiffany's P.O.V.)

I was in my room that night, Ryan rubbing my back as I cried. He had a few runaway tears as well but I can tell he was trying so hard to act tough. It's been years and I finally get to see my family, and now mom's gone. Them leaving me for years is bad enough, now with mom gone is just too much.
"Tiff, I'm sorry. I'm the cause of this and-"
I interrupt Ryan by putting my index finger on his lips. "No, it's dad's fault. Don't go blaming yourself, Ryan. God.." I cover my face again with my hands, feeling the tears over my cheeks.
"This wasn't how my fantasy turned out," Ryan muttered, sniffling a little. "I fantasized about a loving family who never fight, a family who's always there for each other, and a family with no flaws."
"Well, that's fantasy. This is reality," I told him, grabbing a tissue and blowing my nose. I calmed down a bit. "No one can be perfect, we try and it just ruins us. All of us have flaws, even the best of families." I state.
"Yeah, you're right." Ryan said.
It was silent for awhile. It was actually relaxing, just us and no noise. I looked at my phone and saw that I had to go meet my friends at the mall.
"Hey, Ryan," I stood up. "I gotta go meet my friends at the mall today. If you want to come, then you can." I offered.
He looked like he was thinking if he should because he paused for a moment before answering, "Alright, I'll come. But first, you need to wash your face because it isn't pretty." He joked. I chuckled, and soon we were laughing until our stomachs hurt.
"Well, alright then. Just wait at the front door for me. I'll meet you there in a few." I told him, hearing a "okay" from him as I went to the bathroom. I turn the water on and splashed my face with water. I look at myself in the mirror, my eyes jus a little bit puffy and red. I grab a hair brush and coat it with water, turning the faucet off. I brushed my hair since it looked like I just woke up. I dry off my face and put on my glasses, walking to my room to grab my stuff and-wait, where's the necklace?!
"Looking for this, love?" I heard a voice ask. I turn my head to see Bill, holding the necklace.
"B-Bill, give it to me, please." I slowly walk towards him, my hand slightly reached out.
"Oh, but would it be more better if I destroyed this?" He said, a smirk on his face.
"Don't you dare, Cipher." I growled at him.
"Or what? I'm a powerful demon, Writer. You? Well, you're beautiful in my eyes, but you humans can be so useless sometimes." Bill pulled me into his chest, holding my necklace in his left hand while his right hand kept me in place.
"Useless? Look at you now, Bill. Just in human form, you don't have an original form, do you?" I taunt.
His left eye glowed a dangerous red, but soon returned to it's previous eye color. "I just wish to kiss you, steal your first kiss from your beautiful lips, but not just yet. You have Fantasy waiting for you." Bill said, disappeared. He took the necklace as well! That stupid demon!
"Tiff?" I look at my door to see Ryan. "Who were you talking to? What's taking you so long?" He questioned.
"A friend, and I thought I lost my phone," I lied. "Let's go, Ryan."

~At The Mall~

(Ryan's P.O.V.)

Me and Tiffany had to convince her friends that I was her twin. One of them, Toni Nakai, I think her name was, she kept staring at me. I don't know why, but it was kind of freaking me out.
"So, what did you say his name was again?" Christina De Vargas asked me and Tiffany.
"Ryan. I'm Ryan." I repeat my name. Christina looked really friendly as well.
"Guys, stop asking him these questions." Tiffany defended. "Let's just explore." She suggested. We all went to different stores and I had to go to different shops because the others were in a store with just clothes for women. A few people stared at me as we walked by. Was it because I was the only boy? Was there something on my teeth?
"Hey, Ryan?" Toni was right next to me. "Are you free tonight?" She asked.
"Yeah, why?" I ask her.
"Well," she twirled her hair with her index finger. "I was wondering if I could show you around town?" She looked down.
"Well, I'll see." I shrugged.
After we exited the mall, Tiffany, me, Amanda, and Toni got into my sister's car. We first dropped off Amanda since her house seemed closer to the mall. I think she hates me, it's probably me. Next was Toni.
"Bye Tiff. Bye Ryan." She waved as she entered her house. I moved out of the car and sat in the passenger seat.
"So, how was today?" Tiffany asked me as I put my seatbelt on.
"It was actually fun. Toni asked if I was free tonight and-"
"So, she basically asked you out?" She interrupted me.
I stated at her in confusion as she drove back home.
"What're you talking about, Tiff?"
"Isn't it obvious? She likes you." Tiffany directly told me. "I mean, I notice her staring at you when you're not looking." She adds.
"I don't have feelings for her," I said. "Besides, I barely even know her."
"Whatever you say, Ryan." The rest of the drive was just us talking about random things.

A/n: Haha! Did you expect Ryan to say he liked her? Anyways, most of these names I put in are named after some of my friends. So, Toni? If you're reading this, I'm sorry. Anyways, bye! ~Gravity_Faller
