(Ryan's P.O.V.)

All of Tiffany's friends and I were out at a cafe style restaurant just chatting and laughing.

"Kayla, no more caramel frappuccinos for you!" Toni laughed as Kayla finished her third drink of the night.

"But, it's soo good." She whined, giggling. We all laughed loudly since no one else was here besides us and the employees here.

"It's weird that Wendy's hanging out with a bunch of weirdos like us." Gwen joked.

"Dude, you have no idea how many weirdos I've dated." Wendy said.

"I can only imagine." I chuckle.

"We should go you guys. We don't want to stay here all night." Tiffany stood up, grabbing her green tea. We all left the cafe and walked down the street.

"It's kind of disappointing that Tina couldn't come." Kayla said.

"Yeah, she has too much work." Toni agreed. They had told me Christina was a.

We made it to the park which it was pretty lit up. I never really got to explore this town much so this amazed me.

"Guys, look at the sky," Gwen pointed to the sky above us. We all looked up and say that all the stars were shining brightly. They looked like crystals in the night.

"You know, we're changing Earth quite tremendously. With a lot of pollution, city lights, and other man-made things, you don't see stars like this." Tiffany spoke, sitting on the grass. We all joined her, staring at the night sky.

"It's amazing how all of these stars have been around for millions and billions of years. I wonder how long they'll stay like this until all of them burn out." I spoke.

"That's some deep stuff, Ryan." Wendy commented. "I know I don't pay attention to class that much, but I know for sure that these stars will burn bright." She adds, looking at me. Dang, the way she talks is just wonderful. Her green eyes are just too beautiful. I stared at her eyes and she returned the stare.

"I remember star gazing with Bill..." I heard Tiff mumble under her breath.

"Wait, are you actually missing Bill now?" Toni asked.

"N-no! I just remembered that time where he took me into the forest to star gaze." She explained, blushing.

"Again with Bill? Where's the Tiff that hates Bill?" Gwen questioned.

"I still do, okay?" Tiffany defended. They were all glaring at her so I put an arm out in front of her.

"Lay off you guys." I said.

"Yeah, give her some slack. She doesn't want to talk about this." Wendy adds.

"We're sorry, but it's true! I still can't understand why you would date him." Toni said.

"You know what? Screw this, I'm heading back home." Kayla stood up, walking away.

"Yeah, me too." Gwen walked the other direction then Toni.

"You okay, Pines?" Wendy asked, concerned in her tone.

"Yeah, they can sometimes push my buttons. Considering I work with them." She replied, standing up. "It's getting quite late. We should take you home Wendy."

"I cam walk to my house myself. But, thanks." They both hugged. I told my sister I would be walking her home just in case. She walked to another direction. Me and Wendy walked to her house which was oddly in the forest. It was silent besides the sound of crickets chirping in the night.

"So, how did you enjoy the night?" I asked her.

"It was actually fun. I usually do crazy things but getting a chance to relax actually seemed nice." She replied. We stopped in front of a wooden house which I had assumed was her house. She walked to her door, opening it. "I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Y-yeah! Definitely." I exclaimed. She smiled and entered her house. I walked back to the shack which didn't seem to be that far.

I walked inside the house which was pretty dark. I looked in the living room and saw dad writing in his journal. I walked in quietly, making my way towards him. I looked over his shoulder and saw him writing down what looked like a journal entry.

July 28, 2016,

Should I be worried about my own daughter and son? I know they're 24, but I had already lost my wife and now I feel like I'm forgetting her. Is that good? Bad? I don't even know anymore. What should I do? Should I-

"Ryan?" Dad turned his head to me. I jumped slightly. "What were you doing?" He questioned.

"N-nothing, I just got home." I told him.

"Oh, well carry on then." He closed his journal and walked upstairs. I think he knew I was reading his journal. I walked to my room (A/n: yes, he has a small room.) and laid on my bed. I closed my eyes, falling asleep slowly.

A/n: Sorry, should've picked a better title. Bye! ~Gravity_Faller
