A/n: Continuation of part 1.
(Stanley's P.O.V.)
"Those were the good times, those bullies may have been right about us not making any friends,"
Stanford was writing an equation while Stanley drew a picture of the teacher with fangs and horns. The teacher hit him with a ruler of the head while Stanford chuckled.
"But when push comes to shove, you only really need one. Ford's brain seemed to get more impressive every year, and so did our pet project. High school is when Ford had asked Stella out on a date."
Ford and Stella were at the park on their date, Ford being the awkward one didn't say a word.
Stella spoke first, "So, what do you want to do now, Stanford?" She asked him.
Stanford tensed a little. "Do you maybe want to walk on the beach..?" He suggested.
"Of course! Let's go!"
The two went down to Glass Shard Beach and walked on the sand. The water was shimmering like crystals in the water.
"It's so beautiful, isn't it Stanford?" She asked, smiling at her crush.
"O-oh, yeah..it's really amazing." He stuttered. Stella grabbed his six fingered hand and stopped him from walking any further.
"Stanford, I wanted to tell you this for a really long time," she blushed red.
"You can tell me anything, Stell. You're my friend." Ford grabbed both of her hands.
"I like you. Like, a lot. I liked you since sixth grade, and I want to be with you for as long as we live." She confessed. Her words had touched his heart greatly.
"I like you too, Stella." Both leaned in very close, eyes closed. And as they were about to kiss...
"Woo! Go Stanford!" Stanley shouted, ruining the moment.
"You ruined that moment, Stanley. It was absolutely perfect." Stella accused.
"I know it was. Anyways, enough of my brother. Sure I got more than my fair share of trouble, but when your brother's the smartest kid in school, you always got to leg up on the competition,"
The science fair was that day. Stanford had won for his project, his motion machine was in good condition.
"The future was looking bright for all three of us,"
"Oh, but you did something, Stanley."
"I'm just getting to that part, Stella. So be quiet."
"Hey, don't tell my wife to be quiet."
"Okay, just hurry up with the story, Grunkle Stan." Dipper said.
"Okay, then one day..."
The Pines brothers were in class. Stanford was doing his class work while Stanley ate Toffee Peanuts.
The announcements came on. "Pines twins to the principal's office. Pines twins to the principal's office."
"Ah great, what is it this time?" Stanley mumbled.
"Stanford, did you do something? Stanley?" Stella whispered to them.
"Miss Stella, no talking." The teacher told her. She mouthed "good luck" to them before going back to working. The brother went to the office where the principal was. Both of them were going to enter the room but the lady stopped Stanley. Stanford went into the room and saw his parents. He sat between them.
"Now Mr. Pines, I'd like to speak with you very frankly if I may?" The principal said.
"Very frankly is the only way I speak," Mr. Pines crossed his arms.
"You have two sons: one of them is incredibly gifted, the other one is standing outside and his name's Stanley." The principal gestured to the door.
His mom raised her eyebrow. "What're you saying?"
"I'm saying you're son Stanford is a genius!" He threw his arms in the air, getting up from his chair. "All his teachers are going bananas over his science fair experiment! You ever heard of West Coast Tech?" The principal held out a brochure. Stanford took it and his parents looked over it. "Best college in the country. Their graduates turn science fiction into science fact! The admission team is visiting tomorrow to check out Stanford's experiment. Your son might be a future millionaire, Mr. Pines."
"I'm impressed," Mr. Pines grinned.
"But what about our free spirit Stanley?" Mrs. Pines asked.
"That clown? At this rate, he'll be lucky to graduate high school. Look, there's a salt water taffy store at the dock and someone's gotta scrape off the barnacles off of it. Stanford's going places."A/n: I think Anna-Tris is going to kill me now. Bye! ~Gravity_Faller
