Chapter 10 - Friend or Foe?
It was Saturday morning, outside is how I felt inside. Cold. I was bored of being mad at Makala. Jess was right in the middle of it, she didn’t know why I was mad at her but she knew I was mad. Melody though didn’t even have a clue. I don’t see her anymore she’s distant more of a background friend. I don’t want it to be like that but it’s the way it is.
“Charlotte Melody’s here with Jess.” My mum yelled up.
“Okay I’m on my way down.” I walked down in my navy blue chinos and stripped Jack Will t-shirt. “Hey.”
“Do you want to come round mine so we can do that science project?” Jess asked me, with what I think was a wink.
“Yeah sure, just let me grab my bag.” I said I ran back upstairs put some natural colour makeup on and grabbed my bag. “Bye mum” I said kissing her on the cheek “I’ll text you when coming home.”
“Melody long time no see” As I said this I pulled her into a hug; something was different though she just stood there. They both did, with the same blank look on their face. “What wrong. Are you just playing a joke on me or what?”
Suddenly everything went blank for me too.
