Chapter 55

After a nice game the whole team came to my house.

We all laid around and turned on the news to see my face. And Audrey's face.

"Well I'm alive so don't know why I'm on the news." I said.

"I'm alive too." Audrey said shrugging.

"...two amazing girls at tackle football. Alexa Brooks quarter back and Audrey wide receiver. Just so happen to be best of friends. Watch this amazing last play of a high school football game that happened just hours ago." The lady said.

"Why she put so much emphasis on tackle football?! Who the f she thinks she is?" Audrey and I asked at the same time. Creepy. We laughed before watching our amazing last play.

"Come on! Brooks you can run faster! I've seen you at practice!" I heard Coach yell making me laugh.

"I don't care if you're tired you got fifty yards left!" Coach yelled. I saw myself run faster but I turned my back and threw it to Audrey as the crowd got silent.

She jumped up and caught it and started running.

I watched her eyes light up as she ended up in the end zone.

"Lovely moment for two high school girls." The lady said. I smiled at Audrey.

"Well. Ain't no time to celebrate. We got a game Monday and Alexis got one Tuesday Justin Wednesday Christian Thursday and another football game this Friday." I said shrugging.

"Damn. You know some people have homework." Audrey said.

"I know." Jay said.

"I'm missing practice all week." I said.

"You'll be fine? We got another game against them." Justin said.

We soon heard crying.

"Aubrey." Audrey said. Audrey was running up the stairs like she was running on the field.

"Aubrey." Audrey said grabbing her.

"Jason what happened because I know you wouldn't hurt her." I said.

"She had a bad dream." Jason said.

Audrey's Pov

"Hey dreams are dreams. Reality is reality." I said.

Aubrey calmed down. She got used to my tough love.

"Be strong. I know your my strong little warrior." I said.

Aubrey moved close to me and I cuddled her.

"Come on we're watching movies downstairs." Jake said smiling.

Aubrey nodded and Jake picked her up and Aubrey looked scared. But I guess she realized he was my boyfriend and if he tried anything I'd beat the fuck out of him.

Aubrey put her head on his shoulder and I knew occasionally she needed some soft love. But I know when she needs it and she needs it now so I let it happen.

"Don't hurt her." I said.

"I won't hurt her." Jake said. He kissed my forehead.

"You better not or I'm gonna beat you up." I said.

"You're little girl is safe with me tiger." Jake said smiling.

"Ok." I said. I still don't trust anyone new with my girl.

We sat down and we put Home. I think this is my home.

I don't think anymore I'm sure this is my home.
