Chapter 11

Today I had to avoid Jayden. Again. Attempt number 2 of avoiding your crush. And he's so sexy. And he has my first kiss. These lips are no longer a virgin. I'm no longer virgin lips. But I loved it. Wait stop thinking about that.

I sighed and peeked through the front door to see if Jay was in the hallway.
Gosh I need to stop calling him Jay.

I ran a hand through my hair but quickly ran inside.

I was proud of myself so I decided I'd take out a book to read by my locker.

I heard the bell ring so I got up and was still reading while walking to class.

But I bumped into a hard wall. I looked up to see Jayden.

Jayden looked kinda sorta... mad? Should I be scared? Well light purple eyes equals scared so I guess I'm scared.

I took a step back. His face softened.

"Alexa I'm not going to hurt you." Jayden said sighing.

"That face didn't say that a few seconds ago." I said low.

"Why can't I just be mad that you're avoiding me?!" Jayden snapped.

A tear left my eye.

"Stop with the damn tears." Jayden gritted.

I glared at him but wiped them away.

"Baby girl-"

"Don't call me that." I said.

"I'm sorry-"

"I hate you." I said.

"Alexa I didn't mean-"

"Shut it." I said.

I walked away from Jayden. You see this. This is why I don't do boys. My life is so complicated.

I sighed. Let's skip a few periods. Forget about Jay. Gosh I really need to stop calling him that.

I'm going to get my girl Audrey. This is gonna be the shit.

"Where to?" I asked.

"The mall." Audrey said.

"Anything to get my mind off of Jay." I said.

"Aww you call him Jay." Audrey said smiling at me.

"Stop it Audrey." I said glaring at her.

"What happened between you two?" Audrey asked.

"He lost his temper." I said.

"Why?" Audrey asked.

"Because he looked mad when I ran into him. Then I got scared because I got scared and my eyes turned light purple indicating I'm scared. So then he said he wasn't going to hurt me and then I said his face didn't say that a few minutes ago and then he just snapped at me for me avoiding him but hey I had to. Dad told me to and my feelings were sorta kinda getting stronger for uh... him." I said blushing.

"Wow. You should totally not listen to your Dad." Audrey said.

"What is wrong with you?" I asked.

"Well I mean you like him. And he likes you. I can see the way he looks at you." Audrey said as she arrived in the parking lot.

"Yeah but he..."

"He what? Has a temper. Oh come on." Audrey said.

"Well it scared me." I defended.

"If he falls for you and you fall for him you'll learn how to calm him down." Audrey said.

"How?" I asked.

"You'll learn. But until then I'm single bitch." Audrey said as she dragged me into the mall.

We ran inside the mall.

"Ooh Jordan's." We said at the same time. We smiled but quickly went over there. See the good parts of having a girlfriend that's exactly like you.

"These black and purple ones are cool." I said.

"I like them too. We should get the same pair." Audrey said.

I nodded smiling. No Jay. Damn it I had to think about him. And I need to stop calling him Jay.

Audrey and I got back to school and snuck in.

"Go get ready for practice." Audrey said and I nodded.

We went our seep date ways to our lockers.

Jayden was at mine.

"Alexa where have you been all day?" Jayden asked.

"Why do you care?" I snapped.

"Because maybe I was worried about you." Jayden said.

"Yeah whatever. I skipped." I said.

"Just tell me if you're leaving please?" Jay asked. Does my mind listen?! Stop calling him Jay! I'm going to kill my mind-ok this is creepy.

"Why do you care?" I asked.

"Because I care about you." Jayden snapped.

"Well stop caring." I said.

"I don't work like that." Jayden said.

"Well that's your issue." I said walking off.

"Alexa stop being so difficult. I'm trying to be nice." Jayden said.

"Yeah I didn't tell you to be nice." I said.

"Alexa could you just stop?!" Jayden yelled.

"Just leave me alone Jay." I said rolling my eyes.

"You're not getting rid of me. Sorry to burst your bubble." Jayden said.

"Fucking hell Jay you made me late for practice." I said.

"Fine go. But I'll be back here after practice." Jayden said walking for football practice.

"I'm not going home with you." I called.

"Yeah you are." Jay said and I rolled my eyes.

After practice I walked out of the gym.

"Come on and I don't want to argue." Jayden said.

I sighed and followed him without saying anything.

The car ride was silent. Awkwardly silent. Once Jay got to my house Jay leaned over and pecked my lips.

"Good night baby girl." Jay said.

"Good night Jay." I said.
