1 week later
After a week of practicing with the Patriots they invited us to there game.
"This is gonna be awesome." I said smiling.
"Yup baby girl." Jay said.
"What don't I know?" I asked.
"Baby girl it's a surprise for you." Jay said.
I sighed and we walked into the stadium and took our seats.
"Oh you guys can come down." Tom said.
"We're special." I said smiling.
We sat in the way front.
It was 2 minutes before game started and I just realized they made us wear our uniform. Uh oh.
"Alright you guys go on." Tom said.
"What do you mean we go on? Do you see those big guys? There gonna kill me. The Seahawks have no sportsmanship too. What if we win and they start fighting with us too?" I asked. Tom laughed.
"You got it Alexa." Tom said as he pushed me on.
I saw my parents and basically the whole school. So everyone knew. But me.
I put on my helmet and the crowd was going wild and shouting my name. No pressure,I thought sarcastically.
I felt my eyes turn light purple.
"Wait we're going against high schoolers?" Russell asked.
"It's ok Russell. Maybe you can learn a thing or two about sportsmanship." Tom yelled.
We started laughing.
"You think it's funny?" He asked.
"N-no. We weren't l-laughing. Oh my gosh please don't kill me." I said.
He just chuckled.
"You're a girl playing a guys sport." He said.
I nodded like always.
"Heads or tails." The referee asked me.
"Tails." I said.
He flipped the coin and it landed on tails.
I was handed the ball and the crowd was still yelling my name.
'Run.' Jay mouthed. Gosh I hate running but they always tell me to run it first play. I hate it so much.
"Set Hike!" I yelled and I started running as fast as I could.
I ended up sliding through players legs and doing front flips and cartwheels and what not. Eventually I was to far away for anyone to tackle me and I scored a touchdown.
We handed the ball off to a mad Russell.
I walked off.
"Nice job Alexa. Show him who's the better quarter back." Tom said.
"You should be doing this. Those guys are huge. I swear to God if one of them tackles me I'm toast." I said.
"But it's more fun this way to watch Russell lose." Tom said.
"Yeah. I guess." I said smiling.
Russell scored a touch down.
"Go on little girl." Russell said.
I nodded. Damn am I the only one scared?
'You got it sis.' Jason mouthed.
'Throw it to Jay' He mouthed.
