4 days

After two weeks of hard work it was time for the play offs. 16 teams and only one would win the championship.

"Who's this team?" I asked.

"Bulldogs and there defense is nice so be careful." Jay said.

I was pacing back an forth playing with my fingers.

It was soon time to walk on. It's a win and go on or a lose and your out. We had to win every game.

By now I'd claimed being leader of the team and that I led the team here. But I was still scared.

"At least this team doesn't talk." I muttered.

"You guys ready to lose?" One guy asked.

"No I don't lose." I said shrugging as I put in my mouth guard. I put on my helmet. Jay and I were still wearing our nikes.

I started off with the ball.

"Come on Brooks! You got us here!" Someone yelled.

"Damn it did I finish my homework? I don't know. Set Hike!" I yelled as I heard people laughing.

No I don't think I did.

I was hesitating a bit.

"Throw the damn ball!" Coach yelled.

I got tackled.

"It's ok brush it off!" I heard Dad yell.

"Get your head in the game Brooks! I'm not losing!" Coach yelled.

"Come on now." I said and hit my helmet. The same guy smirked at me.

"Set Hike!" I yelled.

I threw it to Audrey quickly.

Some guy was new him.

"Whole body!" I yelled.

She pushed her whole body on him and caught the ball and scored a touchdown.

"Yeah." I said.

She smiled.

Peter held the ball as Jason kicked and it went down the middle.

I walked off and drank some water.

"Brooks if I see you ever like this playing like Tom." Coach said mimicking what I was doing.

"I don't play like that." Tom objected.

"Yeah you do. Set Hike!" I mimicked his deep voice. Then I mimicked him hesitating to throw the ball.

"Damn you got it perfectly. Your coach didn't though." Tom said laughing.

"That's cause I watch football. But I never thought I'd play I'd just be like. Cool sport then go to bed." I said shrugging.

I saw as the quarter back in the other team walk off.

"Run it this play." Coach said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Brooks just run it." Coach said rolling his eyes.

I sighed and walked on.

7-7.

"Brooks close to breaking the record for yards ran and touchdowns scored in one season. Obvious she will run the ball. She's the fastest and the best on the field. You can see it." The ref said.

"Come on." I said hitting my helmet.

"Come on honey! You passed the car! You ran around the neighborhood!" Dad yelled.
