The gift (Adrienette)

Marinette POV

"Why does Chloe have to be such a snob" I say looking down at the gift in my hands.

It was Adrien birthday and I had planned on give him a gift, but of course Chloe had to come and ruin it.

"It's not your fault Marinette. You know how Chloe can be" Tikki said popping out of my purse. "Your right" I say looking at Tikki before looking down a the gift.

"Maybe you should go find Adrien and give him the gift." Tikki said looking at the gift. "I totally would, but I have to look after Manon this afternoon." I said looking at Tikki.

"So I don't really have time to go running around Paris looking for him" I say watching Tikki. Tikki smiled before ducking backing to my purse.

I look up to see what Tikki was hiding from to find Adrien walking towards me. "Hey Marinette" Adrien says giving me a wave.

"H-hi A-Adrien" I stammer giving a small wave. "Hey, sorry about Chloe" Adrien said rubbing the back of his neck. "I-it's o-okay, r-really" I say giving a small smile.

"I k-kinda want to give y-you something" I say holding out the gift toward him. "I know it's y-your birthday" I add.

"Wow Marinette, thanks" Adrien said taking the gift and slowly unwraps it to reveal a black and green jacket. The jacket was black with a green lining around the edge.

"Wow Marinette. Did you make this?" Adrien asks holding up the jacket. "yea i did" I say going a red. "Well it's amazing. Thank you" Adrien said pulling me into a hug.

I stood there in surprised as Adrien release me. "Thanks Marinette. You've really given me the best birthday I've ever had" He said.

"Y-y-you're w-welcome Adrien" I stuttered going red. "I just want my friends to feel happy on their birthday" I say while mentally cheering in my head for not stammering.

"Well I'm glad to have a friend like you who cares" Adrien said putting a hand on my shoulder, smiling. "It's nothing really" I say blushing. "No really, you Alya and Nino are the only ones who care about me" Adrien said looking down removed his hand.

"He does care about you Adrien, he's just having trouble showing it" I said putting my hand on his shoulder, making Adrien look up at me. "Thanks Marinette. It really mean at lot" Adrien said smile before looking around to see his car arrive to pick him up.

"Gotta go photoshoot" Adrien said stepped back. "See you tomorrow at school Adrien" I say give a wave. "See yay tomorrow" Adrien said give a wave before get in the car.

"Girl. I did not just see that" a voice says from behind. I whip around to see Alya staring at me her eyes wide open. "See what?" I ask looking at her in confusion.

"You were talking to Adrien without stuttering" Alya said coming close. "Yeah I know" i say rubbing the back of my neck. "Well. How did you do that, tell me" Alya said eyeing me.

"I don't know how I did it Alya, but I'm glad I manage to give him his gift" I say smiling. "Girl, you have to give me all the details to what happened" Alya said.

"I will but not now. I have to go and baby sit Manon." I said give Alya a wave before leaving the park.

"Wow Marinette you did good" Tikki said popping out of her hiding spot. "You think so?" I asked looking at her. "Of course. Do you relies what you just did" Tikki said

"I know. I was finally able to give Adrien his birthday gift" I sighed happily at the thought of what had just happened.
