Fireflies (Adrienette)

Third person POV

Adrien awoke to hear a small giggle coming from the creek. He had come on camping trip with Nino and the girls to get away from his father and the Akuma attack that had been happening.

Adrien quietly slipped out of the tent trying not to disturb Nino and made his way down to the creek to find Marinette there.

Adrien POV

'What's Marinette doing out here' I thought as I watching Marinette giggle as fireflies darted across the creek and around her. I was to busy watching her with the fireflies I didn't realise Marinette had seen me.

"A-Adrien. What are you doing here" Marinette asked snapping me awake. "I couldn't sleep. What about you" I said as moving to take a seat next to her. "Same. It's a bit different from all the nights spent in Paris. Almost magical"  Marinette said look back at the fireflies raising her hand in attempt to catch one. I smiled at Marinette as she rested her head on my shoulder surprising me before I wrap an arm around her.

We sat there is silence side by side watch the fireflies around us before Marinette started to sing softly.

If ten million fireflies
Lit up the world as I fell asleep

I stared at Marinette as she sung. She sounded just like my mother when she used to sing to me before she disappeared.

The disco ball is just hanging by a thread.

I got misty eyes as they said farewell

Third person POV

Alya and Nino awoke the next morning to find there two friends asleep next to the creek, Adrien's arms around Marinette waist while Marinette rested on his chest.

Hey guys. This song has been playing itself over and over again in my head. I'm also going to be going back to school next week so update will take a while but I will try to update all of my books when possible
