Movies (Adrienette)

Third person POV

Marinette smile happy as she walk out of class. "What's got you all happy" Alya asked staring at her best friend. "I'm gonna ask Adrien to the movies tonight." Marinette said. "Well you better hurry before he leaves" Alya said point to where Adrien was saying bye to Nino. Marinette nodded before hurrying up to Adrien. "H-Hey A-Adrien" Marinette said mentally cursing for stuttering. "Hey Marinette, can I help you" Adrien asked. "I just wanted to know if you wanted to go to the movies tonight" Marinette said gaining confidence. "Sure what time" Adrien said. "Does 7 sound go" Marinette asked. "Cool see you then" Adrien said before getting in the limo. Marinette smile before running back to Alya not noticing the blonde who had heard the whole thing.

(Later that night)

Marinette POV

I stood out the front of the movie theatre waiting for Adrien. "Good job Marinette" Tikki said popping out of my purse. "Thanks Tikki. Who knows maybe after this I can confess to him" I said looking down at my phone which said 7:05. "He's late" I said looking up expecting him to be walking towards me. I decided to call him but it went straight to voicemail. I groaned as tears started to well up in my eyes.

Adrien POV

"Chloe I don't have time for this" I said staring at the blonde. "But you promised that you would come" Chloe wined. "I didn't promise you anything Chloe" I said glancing down at my watch 7:07. I was now late. "Chloe I don't have time for this" I said stepping past her to get to the car. "But Adrienkins, why do you want the hang out with Martrash instead of me" Chloe said. I spun around. "How did you know I was going to see Marinette" I asked glaring at her. "No I get it, you were trying to get me to go with you so I would ditch Marinette" I said glaring at her before getting into the car and  signalling Gorilla to head to the movie theatre.

Marinette POV

"Marinette don't blame Adrien" Tikki said patting my head. "How can I, he ditched me" I said raising my head up to look at her. The door bell rang down below. I groaned pulling myself up to answer the door as my parents were on a business trip. I opened the door to see Adrien standing there. "What do you want?" I asked crossing my arms glaring at him. "I'm sorry, Chloe held me up" Adrien said hanging his head a bit. "I should have know she would have done something like this" I growled. "Hey it's okay. You still up for the movies" Adrien said causing my face to light up. "I've got a better idea" I said quickly pulling Adrien into the house and dragging him into the living room. "How about a movie marathon" I said my face gleaming with excitement. "Sure" Adrien said.

Soon we were sitting on the couch nestled up in blankets with a batch of cookies and croissant in front of us with hot chocolates. "I think this is better that going to the movies" Adrien said in my ear as I chosed the movie. "Thanks" I said leaning backwards resting my head on Adrien's shoulder. Adrien wrapped his arm around me and kissed the top of my head. "Your welcome Mari"
