I rolled over, expecting to feel Harry's skin under my fingertips. Nothing. I opened my eyes slowly, blinking in the Autumn light. I sat up and ruffled my hair to find that the room was empty. My heart started pounding, thoughts running through my head.
Has he left? Was it because I wouldn't...do it last night?
"Harry?" I called sleepily. No answer.
I jumped out of bed and flung the door open. I heard rustling from the kitchen and breathed a sigh of relief, peering round to see him raking around the cupboards, looking for something. He saw me and smiled, holding two tea bags in his hand.
"Morning," he said cheerfully," milk? Two sugars?"
I nodded and sat down at the rickety breakfast table, watching the way his body curved as he moved around my kitchen. He flicked his hair as he placed my mug on the table, grinning sweetly and kissing my cheek. He sat in front of me, rubbing his leg against mine under the table.
"Lets go out somewhere,"he suggested.
I laughed, "like what? Theres nothing to do in Holmes Chapel?"
"We're not that far away from London..."
"Harry it's expensive, I can't afford it," I sighed sadly.
"Who says you'll be paying?" he said, and that was it, I wanted to go with him so badly.
I threw my arms round him, hugging him over the table and saying thank you over and over again. It was exciting, I had never been all the way to London before as I had so little money.
"Better get ready then."
I smiled and did what I was told and went back to my room. My hair was limp and lifeless, slightly wavy at the ends. I curled it perfectly, trying to make an effort. I looked in my wardrobe and frowned, nothing seemed suitable for such a big day out. Most people would see going to London as normal, but to me it was special, something different.
I ended up picking a pair of light blue jeans and and white long sleeved t-shirt. It looked too plain and I wanted impress Harry, I liked the way he looked at me. There was a studded necklace on my dresser that I bought myself for Christmas one year, never worn once. I clipped it round my neck and fixed it in place, making my outfit. Harry peered round the door and grinned when he saw me.
He came closer, placing his hands firmly on my waist, kissing my nose.
"You look sexy today," he breathed.
I blushed, pulling .my ancient leather jacket out of the cupboard and laughed,
"We can be twins."
He laughed and pulled me by the collar, kissing me hard and slipping his tongue in sneakily.
"Harry!" I cried, as he bit my ear," there's no time!"
He pouted," please?"
"No!" I said laughing, but kissed him again anyway to make up for it.
We walked to the subway, me skipping along excitedly.
"Someone's excited," he said smiling.
"I am! I've never been to London!"
"Your shitting me...right?" he laughed,"well I'm glad to be part of it then."
I saw the sub pull up, the doors just about to close.
"Oh my god the train!" I cried," fuck Harry we've missed it!"
He grabbed my wrists, hurtling down the stairs.
