Chapter One:
ERIC'S POV:
I'm Eric... I'm 5'9 and I've got long straightened black hair thats layered which falls into my eyes... I'm 15 years old and currently attend Montveiw Terrice High... I get picked on because of my style, music taste, and well... Just me in general...
I'm insanley quiet... Have been ever since.... The accident.... But no one eccept my best friend Jake knows what happend... Hell.... He was THERE...
*FLASHBACK*
7:15 PM Wednesday, April 13th, 2001...
"Yeah, yeah, Mom.... I know... No parties, no drinks, and NO girls.. I got it! Don't worry! I'll Be FINE." I say as my mom grabs her overnight bag and heads towards the door...
"Honey just be careful! Don't let anyone inside unless it's Jake! Lord only knows how many times your father has tried comming back here since our divorce..." My mom says rushing outside to her cab.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
My dad used to reeatedly beat me and my mother both... He was an ignorant drunk, who, when he was home, punched, kicked, and clawed me raw... I have scars from his dirty fingernails up and down my arms, neck, back and legs... It took my mom well over 15 years to realize that he wasn't for her and what he was doing was wrong.... Of course it had messed us both up pretty badly but at least she got away from him...
*FLASH BACK*
"Hey dude, my moms outta town... SO.... COME OVER!" I yelled directly into the phone when jake picked up after the third ring.
"Be right there!"
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Jake is my best friend. He's 5"8 which makes me an inch taller than him... It's not much... But I'm still taller... He's got wavy light brown hair and bright blue eyes... They aren't a pale blue but an Icy, Deep, Light-ish-Dark Blue... Unlike mine which are an Emerald Green. He's been my next door neighbor and best friend ever since he moved in eight years ago..
*FLASHBACK*
"Oh come on!! What she gonna do, catch us?" Jake said as he repeatedly begged me to let him throw one of his WILD high school parties...
"She and I BOTH said NO! Gosh you are so STUBBORN!"
"Please???" He said giving me puppy dog eyes and sticking out his bottom lip in a pout.
"Oh alright!" I say defeated
"YAY!!" He jumps with joy.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
"Aunt Jamie I'm Home!!!" I yell as I enter the front door.. I don't get an answer so I just shrug it off and run up to my bedroom. I plop down onto my bed and put my headphones in blaring Cellar Door by Escape The Fate into my Ipod.
