Brooklyn's POV
I slid on my smooth dress as the girls gasped around me.
"Honey that's so flattering!" Perries hands flew to her mouth as she fluffed my recently blown-out hair.
I looked in my full length mirror to picture everything. I saw myself when I was 5.
There was a little girl smiling and twirling around in my light pink dress, the bottom flowing.
Then it changed to a 10 year old staring into the mirror. She grabbed her backpack as she covered up her bruised arms with sleeves. The girl smiled forcively as she said goodbye to her reflection.
Then came 13 year old me.
Tears rushed down her face as the blood from her cuts dripped and bled. She cried from the mean girls, the hateful people, and her terrible mother.
Then there was 17 year old Brooklyn. She smiled and cried tears of joy as she clung her suitcase to her chest, sneaking out to go on tour.
Finally it was present Brooklyn, she smiled as she twirled around in her elegant prom dress. I had realized.
A terrible childhood ended up to a fabulous ending. It was all paying off. Everything I went through made me the person I am today, and that's a person that Niall loves.
"Sweetie... You okay?" Eleanor rubbed my back as I felt something drip on my upper cheekbone.
I finally realized I was crying.
But this time for a good reason.

"Again, you look absolutely fabulous." Niall smiled as he stared at me.
I kissed his cheek, walking into the building.
It was filled with people who had never said one nice thing to me, not once.
"Brooklyn! I miss you, girl!"
"I love you, Brookie!"
"Miss you tons!!"
"It's not the same!"
"You're stunning!"
"Let's catch up!"
"You know Niall!?"
"Omg Niall! Nice to know you're with my bestie!"
A huge group of people crowded around us. They weren't just any people. They were the people who almost made me commit suicide. The people who made me cut until I passed out from blood loss.
They were the enemies.
Niall mustve felt the pain in my eyes because I felt him get really tense.
"If you don't mind, we're trying to get through..." He said, the anger building up.
I knew when he used that tone, he was getting furious.
The people didn't move a muscle, still yelling at us.
"WILL EVERYONE MOVE?!" He yelled.
There wasn't a peep in the room. The people parted, making an awkward walkway for us.
"Whatever we all know she sent you nudes to be your girlfriend anyway." (A/N: COUGHACACIA) A bleach blonde scuffed.
Niall stopped in his track, hand getting tight.
"Niall... Don't start it... It's ok..." I tried to calm him.
Nialls POV
I spun around on my heel as I looked the girl in the eyes.
"What did you just say?" I stepped in closer.
"You don't love her and she doesn't love you." She laughed.
I grabbed my girlfriends hand as I grabbed my keys from my pocket.
"Now I actually know why she would cry over you. Because you have no heart whatsoever. So leave me and my girlfriend alone."
"You don't know who I am do you?" She laughed coldly.
"Who?" Brooks voice trembled.
"Your sister by adoptive genes."
