20. The one with the endless walking

"Okay so I think we should just make our way around to all the dress shops until we're happy. I think we should try and get Gemma's dress and the bridesmaid dresses first, then we focus more on me," Jess says.

"Wow, for once Jess actually has the plan," Sienna jokes and Jess just smiles. I can tell how excited she is. I guess the thought of getting a dress is making her realize she's getting married soon.

"Is my dress gonna be white? Or is it going to be purple? Or pink?" Gemma asks.

"It's going to be white or peach," Jess says.

"How does peach look?" she wants to know.

"Peach is like very light orange," Jess answers.

"Oooh okay. I think that's nice. What color is mommy's dress going to be?"

"Also peach," Jess tells her.

"And Aunty Hailey and Aunty Crissy?" she asks and I smile at the nickname she has for Crystal.

"All peach. Except my dress. I'm going to wear a white dress."

"A white princess dress?" Gemma asks in awe.

"Yes. Definitely a white princess dress Gemma."

"Oh wow! Aunty Jess you are going to look very very pretty."

"Thank you Gemma," Jess says.

"How far away is Crystal?" Sienna asks.

"She should be here in the next 5 minutes," I answer. We wait a few minutes before Crystal comes bursting in.

"Sorry, I've left my mom alone at the bakery today for the first time in a while. I just needed to double check a few things before I left."

"Don't worry about it. You're not late, we're all a bit early," Sienna tells her.

"Let's get started then," Jess says leading us towards a dress shop.

"Someone's eager," Crystal whispers to me.

"She really is, we have a game plan and everything. A game plan she came up with herself. But I guess we would be eager too if we were shopping for our wedding dresses."

"Definitely. So what is the game plan? And what kind of dresses is she looking for? You know for us to wear?" Crystal asks.

"She wants to sort out ours and Gemma's dresses first. Then we'll spend the rest of the time looking for hers. I think she's leaning more towards cocktail dresses for us, nothing too extravagant though. She has a vision so we'll see what happens."

"I'm pretty excited too. I love trying on pretty dresses. I also love watching people try on dresses so watching Jess find her perfect dress is going to really exciting."

I don't get a chance to continue my conversation with Crystal because we've reached the first shop.

"Okay so Gemma and I will go look at flower girl dresses while you three choose out all the nice peach dresses you can find," Jess instructs and I almost laugh at how serious she is.

We all split up and head towards different sections in the shop in pursuit of dresses. As I look around I notice many pink, red and blue dresses while peach dresses don't really seem to exist in this store. after we search for quite some time we all meet up outside the fitting room. Jess has a few dresses for Gemma to try on while Crystal, Sienna and I have only managed to find 4 dresses.

"Sienna, can you help Gemma try on the dresses we found while I look at what you managed to find?" Jess asks and Sienna agrees before leading Gemma to a changing room.
