6. The One with the road trip

I walked towards my room and felt a pair of hands cover my eyes. I obviously wasn't expecting this so I started to scream.

"Hails calm down. It's just me," Josh said.

"What do you think you're doing? You almost gave me a heart attack! And how did you even get in here?"

"The door was open and...well I have a surprise."

"Giving me a heart attack was a big enough surprise."

"Come on. All I'm going to do is lead you outside okay?"

"Fine but if I am injured in any way I am going to hurt you."

"Okay. Sure."

"I will!"

"I believe you Hailey."

"You don't sound like you do."

"I do," he said and a few moments later we stopped moving.

"It better not be lame," I said.

"It won't be. So can you please do me a favour and pick a name?" he asked.

"Why?"

"Don't ask questions just pick one."

"Girl or boy's name?"

"I think...girl."

"Okay...uh...Hailey," I joked.

"Not someone we know Hails," he said with a chuckle.

"Okay then how about uh...Georgie?"

"Georgie...mmm...I like it."

"Riiight."

"Okay...meet Georgie," he said before he took his hands away from my eyes.

"Ta da," he told me once I caught sight of his car.

"Oh my gosh! You finally got it!" I shouted which made him laugh.

"Yeah I finally did. I drove straight over," he informed me and my heart skipped a beat. He just made me like him more when he said things like that.

"I told you all the hard work would pay off."

"Well Becky did pay for half but you're right. It did pay off. So what do you say? Wanna go for a drive?" he asked.

"Uh...duh," was my response.

"Well then hop in millady."

"So where are we going?"

"I don't know."

"Then why are we in your car?"

"I don't know. I just wanted you to be the first person to see Georgie," he said leaving me speechless and making me realize just how hard I was falling for Joshua Reily.

"How do you still have this car?" I ask as I walk down to where Josh is waiting for me.

"I pretty much drove across the country a few times" Josh says with a grin.

"It's been a while Georgie," I say, patting the hood.

"I cannot believe you still remember her name."

"How could I forget the name I picked?" 

"Get in then."
