A room at the end of the corridor. Our destination, and a surprise according to Lenalee.

As we inch closer to the room, murmurs could be heard, it's great to have good hearing when your around a place with people. For all people could know, they could be doing something funny. But let's not get into details.
I want to trust everyone at the order, including Lenalee.

Allen covers my eyes.
"It's a surprise Takeshi" his voice sounded soft.
He pulls me closer to the room.

As we entered the room, chatting could be heard, there were people inside. I grabbed Allens hands that were covering my eyes.
As my eyes open, I see people standing in front of me, wearing the same clothes, black uniforms and the same order pin. Some where looking at me, some looking at others.

My eyes begin to tear up, why am I here?
Allen looks at me, " 'Tis okay to cry, Tears have meaning and story"
I poke him.
"Are you okay? What's up? You're different!"
He smiles "I'm fine, Just wanted to cheer you up"
"Thank you" he quickly everts his gaze to my eyes.
"Are you okay? what's up? You're different." He pokes me and repeats my words.
I giggle.
"I'm fine, completely fine." Trying to sound reassuring can be hard when it comes to making sure family doesn't find out.

Will telling a lie make any difference though, sooner or later someone will find out, someone will tell him something that should be kept a secret. For now I shall stay silent.

Kanda can be seen walking in carrying a cage of some sort. This is were curiosity killed the cat, and in my case that is never good. 'Hey Kanda, what are you carrying?' I decide to ask him. He simply replies with 'Something'.

Now this is where he crosses the line of killing the cat. 'Kanda I need to know, and now' Allen walks over and places himself next to me. He gives a tiny nod to Kanda.

He opens the cage and a phoenix emerges from within it. Its wings as bright as the morning sun we all yearn to see, and its eyes as pearcing as a cats glare. All of those things made this creature beautiful in my eyes.

'He's so... extraordinary.' I speak out my thoughts. 'We knew you'd like him, well, more like Allen knew you'd like him seeing as you like weird animals.' Kanda tells me in response. Allen sweat drops. 'Thank you for your comment, but these animals aren't as weird as you, quite frankly.' I tell him whilst I keep my gaze on the bird.

'You're quite right Avery' Allen says. My eyes widen, no one should know that name. For now I will let it slide. 'Shall we get on with the party then?' Lenalee asks patiently. 'Yes please!' I reply as Lenalee smiles at me.

The next few hours were filled with a lot of drinking, well, except from me and eating as well as partying. I can't get used to this, but the best I can do is try. For Nea. For my future as well as Allens.
