First Mission (Part 1)

Since we found out about the stars and Asteria, I have been treated like a fragile object by Kamui, Kanda and Hevlaska. We decided to keep it a secret from the rest of the order, due to the commotion it may cause amongst us.

It's only been a day, I've slightly adjusted to the sticks that help me walk and of course Kanda is there to help me. Yet I can't stop thinking that this was all an act of pity, and me being me, I don't like being pitied. But no matter how hard I tried to get rid of Kanda, he wasn't going anywhere.

'Taki-chan, Kamui wants to talk to you' Leenalee speaks out during breakfast.

I take a sip of my orange juice, the same thing I get every morning.
'Do you know what it's about?' I ask her with a smile.

'It's time for your first mission' she smiles and looks at me.

Finally, a mission. Maybe I can get away from Kanda Yū.
'Leena-chan, will you accompany me?' I ask her.
She nods.

YES. No more Kanda! I get to spend time with Leenalee!

'Let's get you in your dress first, we'll go see my brother afterwards' she tells me as we both rise from the table. I grab my crutches and hop along with Leenalee to my room.

As we get there, she enters the room with me.

'It's been a day since the accident, does it hurt?' She asks me as she fetches my Order dress, still the old fashioned style.

'Only a bit, it's painful to walk.' I tell her.

She sighs.
'My brother is so cold hearted. You're in pain and he makes you go on a mission..'

'Don't worry! I'm actually glad I'm getting away.' I smile at her and get changed into my dress, my black and white hair now platted at the sides, placed in a cute, messy bun.

'You look wonderful! So graceful and beautiful' she tells me and she hugs me.

'Not with these crutches I don't.' I tell her.
She smiles again.

'We'll get you a wheelchair, it'll be less painful as well' she tells me and I nod.

'That's a fantastic idea'

We begin to head downstairs towards Kamuis study. And of course, once again, he was buried between books.

'Brother, you wanted to see Taki-chan' Leenalee says.

'Ah! Yes!' He suddenly erupts from the rubble of books.

'You've been appointed on a mission, Kanda and Leenalee will accompany you. I've also arranged for a wheelchair to be used in your case' Kamui tells us. Of course I still had Yato and Murasame within my body, resting. I could call them out in times of need.

'Ah! Speak of the devil' Kamui speaks as he looks out towards the doorway. Kanda stood there with a wheelchair at his side.

'Ready to go?' He asks me and Leenalee.

'Ready as always!' We answer him.

'Kyouya D.Campbell, be careful please. We can't loose you' Kamui tells me.

'I will, don't worry. I have Leenalee and Kanda with me.' I smile.

'You look nice today' Kamui tells me.

'Leena-chan styled my hair today. What can I say, her work is beautiful.' I tell him and he smiles.

'You sure are right. Now off you go. Have a safe journey' he tells us all.
