Upon A Box

They enter the house
As quiet as a mouse

As they remember the smoke
Thankful they hadn't awoke

They climb up the stairs
Thankful for the repairs
And that their "mother" had cared

They walk through the familiar hall
Out of the routes of them all

They hadn't even saved
The pie their "mother" had made

They open the door
And enter the room
They lost hold of the knife
And dropped it with an echoing *boom*

They then saw a locked box
And opened it with the key
They held the expression of shock
A familiar locket they see

As the memories flooded back
Their shoulders began to rack

They hold the locket close...
As they remember their best friend...
