Chapter 11
Amy
I felt like I had been hit by a train. My head ached, my mouth felt dried and even though my eyes were closed, I could feel the room spinning.
Oh, I wanted to be sick. I could feel it in my throat. I could feel my jaw slack and my stomach grumble wanting food. Oo, food. Just as the thought of food filled my heart, I felt it want to empty my stomach.
My eyes slightly opened to a spinning room, making my head ache even more. I groaned, wanting it to stop.
What even happened last night?
I remembered dancing with a really, really hot guy, feeling everything inside of me burn with hatred. We had only been there for one minute and Archie was already chatting up some bimbo bartender. The guy suggested we took our dancing someplace else. The only thing I heard was a way to forget about Archie. But of course the dick wouldn't let me have that. He had pulled the really, really hot guy off me and started pushing him up against the wall. I think I fell, or tripped or something.
I groaned again, slightly turning my head. My eyes widened when I found Archie staring straight at me from a chair by the window.
I would have found it creepy if I wasn't so annoyed.
"Come to finish the job," I groaned feeling hot and flushed.
"What?" He croaked.
"You were trying to kill me, right?" I asked, trying a different way.
"Not on purpose," he said looking like the kid that broke his siblings' toys. His eyes big and innocent.
If I wasn't dying and hating this guy, I would have laughed but instead I scoffed.
Moving up on my elbows, I sent the room into chaos.
"Whoa," I said preparing myself for the worse.
My back made a wave, hunching over.
"Hey, hey, here," he said jumped forward and putting a white tub in front of me.
My eyes squeezed shut as my stomached pumped itself out of my body and into the tub.
"Hey, it's always good to know you have a gag reflex."
I squeezed my eyes harder, trying not to laugh and wished the vomiting to stop. When it had, I fell back in the mattress, feeling the taste of vomit burn my mouth.
"The doctor said that you have concussion," Archie told me, kneeling beside my head as he took the tub off the bed.
"Wait," I stopped him, "and you made me sleep?"
He only shrugged.
My eyes opened, shocked.
"I could have died!"
"Doctor Glen knows what he's doin," he stated, not calming my thoughts.
"Wait, you took me here instead of a hospital?"
He just shrugged again.
"You really are trying to kill me."
"Okay, look, last night was an accident," he lied.
"That's not an apology," I told him.
He frowned, "I'm not apologisin'."
The rude dick.
"So you ruin my hook up and give me a concussion and still no sorry?" I asked knowing the answer.
"You were the one that went off with Justin!" He yelled, moving to his feet.
Damn, now I know his name.
"You were the one talking to that bimbo!" I shouted back.
He frowned, "what bimbo?"
I scoffed. As if he didn't know.
"The blonde bartender," I told him.
"Kaylie?" Was that a question?, "that's not - Kaylie's not," my eyes widened when I waited for an answer that wouldn't come, "what the hell were you thinkin' goin' back there with him?"
I frowned, "what do you think? I was thinking, good time. Which you ruined, so thanks a lot!"
"Damn right you should thank me," he said, "I saved your life."
"From what? A guy that could show me a really good time?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him.
"He wouldn't have shown you a good time, he's a -," he paused, "he's a biter."
I frowned, "a biter? Wow, what a deal breaker."
"Amy, I'm serious," he told me, turning his hands to fists.
"So am I. I don't know what I did to make you think that you have some sort of control over my life but cut it the hell out! I'm not your damn Princess!" I yelled.
"Yeah well it's too hard bein' your Prince! The reason why the princess is always saved at the end of the story is because she's can never make up her bloody mind!"
"The reason why the princess is saved at the end of the movie because the Prince is - oh god no," I groaned, as the room started to spin again, "oh no."
"Here, here," he said, dropping to his knees, placing the tub in front of me.
And it started all over again. My mouth fell open and I felt my whole body shake with each gag. I could feel Archie's hand rub my back and if it didn't feel so good, I would have slapped it away.
Once it was over, I stayed in the hunched over position, trying to get my breathing back to normal. Archie's hand didn't move.
"Sorry," he said, once I stopped groaning.
"Please," I moaned, "you don't even know the meaning of the word."
"Aye I do, it's pained, regretful, penitent. Feeling pity or sympathy for. Wretched. Of or relating to mourning," I smiled, realizing that he was using my own come back against me. I really did have a sick sense of humour, "and when you can read without gaggin', I will look up the meanin' to thank you for you."
I half chuckled at that, feeling my body calm as I focused on his hand on my back.
"Thank you," I croaked, my voice burning with that vomit taste.
"Any time, Princess."

Archie
After a couple of hours, Amy stopped having dizzy spells and stopped vomiting enough so that I could wash the tub out.
When I returned, Amy was out of bed, sporting that good body of hers in a aqua singlet with pink Minnie Mouse pyjama shorts. Her rich brown hair, fell in her face as she searched through her draws making me notice how tanned her skin was. I couldn't believe Liv and her were sisters.
When I shut the door, she flicked her hair out of her face so she could see my still body that was trying to hide the affect that she had over me. She frowned when she noticed how painful it was to look at her the way I did now but feeling a wall greater than the Great Wall of China cutting me off from her.
"What are you looking at?" She asked in that put on I'm-better-than-everyone voice.
She turned her body so that her whole body faced me. I felt like a school boy trying to avoid her unsupported breasts that the singlet perfectly outlined.
"Nothin'," I said biting my lip, trying to ignore how high my voice came out.
She scoffed and rolled her eyes, "it's like you've never seen breasts before."
"Well, I've never seen yours but thanks to that singlet, I'm half way there."
She scoffed again and buried herself in her hair. If I didn't know better, I would say that she was trying to hide a smirk.
"Anyway, you should be restin'," I told her, setting the now washed out tub beside her bed.
"Well, I've stopped vomiting and I'm trying not to fall asleep. Because if I fall asleep I will die," she stated so bluntly that I had to chuckle.
"Well, I just found out what you and Liv have in common. You're both dramatic."
She shrugged, "actually where is Liv?"
"I don't know. Probably with Callum."
She sighed, "of course she is."
I frowned, when she sounded as if Callum came first to Liv. I had a dead arm yesterday because she wasn't second best.
"Liv was here," I told her, "she slept next to you till the sun came up and then Callum took her back to their room."
Guilt washed over her face for thinking wrong of her sister. Another chink in her armour.
"Your sister loves you and I have photos of her death stares implanted in my brain to prove it," I reassured her.
"I know that but..." she sighed.
"It's okay if Liv's your only friend," I told her.
Her head shot up and her eyes were burning with fire.
"What the hell would you know?" She yelled all of a sudden.
"All my sayin' is -."
"Get the hell out!" She yelled pointing to the door.
"Princess just -."
"Get out!"
She took a step towards me and forced her hands into my chest. I stumbled back, not trying to fight her.
"Princess -!"
Her slaps grew harder till I started to feel my chest burn.
"Stop!" I finally yelled, clamping her hands in mine.
"Let go of me!" She shouted pulling away from me now.
"Why are you actin' like this?" I asked, lowering my voice.
"Because you think you're better than me," she groaned, still fighting me grip.
"No I don't," it broke my heart to know that she felt like that. Another clink in her armour.
My little Princess was insecure. How could someone so beautiful feel this way?
"I don't think that," I told her, not recognising my weak voice.
"I mean, I have friends," she reassured me, "but I normally..."
"You don't have to explain to me."
She frowned, "I don't?"
"Why are you so shocked?"
She shrugged, "you seem like the type of guy that always gets what he wants."
I shrugged. It was true.
"I'm tryin' somethin' different," I admitted.
"Well, if it works, can you show me how to do it," she asked with a little giggle at the end to lighten the mood.
I nodded, "I would do anythin' for you."
Her eyes looked up into mine, surprised by my declaration. I was shocked myself. I couldn't remember the last time I would do anything for anyone beside from myself and my family. But I guess Amy was my family.
"Even save you from evil," I added tapping the tip of her nose.
She scoffed and rolled her eyes as if trying to hide her smirk behind a curtain of annoyance.
"Um, you better get out," she asked more nicely this time, "I need to get dress."
I had the opposite idea.
"I could always help you," I suggested with a smirk, reaching out to take her hips.
"Get out," she playfully groaned, slapping them away, trying to hide her smirk.
I smiled and tapped her nose again, seeing her eyes light up.
Fighting my wolf, I turned and headed out of the room.
I felt like I could breathe again feeling relieved. Amy and I actually had a conversation. Maybe there was hope for us after all.
