My head pounded with the need to sleep. Watching Game of Thrones just didn't seem worth it at this time of night. I flopped back on the mattress feeling it shape my body and support my back. I was getting too old for staying up this late.
I chuckled at the thought. It was only a year ago when I could out party my younger siblings and now I couldn't even get up the energy to party at all. I was turning into my older brother. And if that thought didn't turn me off sleep than what would.
I groaned and rolled onto my belly, giving into suffocation.
I frowned but didn't look up when I heard the click of the door opening. The light from the hall filled the room and I could hear the creaking of the floorboards under the carpets. I turned my head when I heard the familiar sound of wood against wood when my bedside table draw opened.
I frowned when I saw my brother grumbling through the draw.
"What are you doin'?" I asked feeling unsettled about how settled I was to find Graham looking through my draw.
"Lookin' for a condom, what do you think?" He asked, now not bothering to be quiet.
I now noticed his uneven breathing and his shirtless body.
"How do you know where I keep my condoms?" I asked, focusing on the small things.
"Please, this isn't my first time."
I frowned feeling more disturb with him stealing my condoms than him going through my stuff. I kind of expected it from him.
"Ah found one," he cheered sticking the square piece of plastic into his pocket.
"Oh and you only have one condom left."
I groaned and rolled onto my back as Graham quickly ran out of my room. The coward. I was use to Graham's disrespect for other people's things but it was Allie that caught the brunt of it. The youngest, the only girl out of five children and worst of all, Graham's twin and she still had to deal with him stealing her stuff.
I sighed, closing my eyes once the door was shut and Graham was out of my head.
Okay Sleep, come on and take me I begged Sleep, Come on you bastard, take me.
My eyes flicked opened when I heard the click of the door again. Groans escaped from my lips when Callum poked his head through.
"Not you too," I moaned, giving up on sleep all together.
"Aye sorry," he said, walking over to his draw. I wasn't even going to ask how he knew where I kept my condoms," I forgot to get some yesterday."
"Great, so does that mean everybody in this bloody house is gettin' some tonight except for me?" I asked not expecting an answer but knew I would get one anyway.
"Why don't you have a lass tonight?" He asked searching through my draw.
"Can't a guy just stay in bed for one night to watch Game of Thrones?" I asked, a little louder than I would normally speak.
Callum just shrugged enjoying my dry patch.
"Maybe it's the universe tellin' you to become celibate," he joked with an annoying smile.
"That's not funny," I snapped.
He chuckled, "maybe it's tellin' you to stop usin' woman."
I frowned, not understanding why all of a sudden he had a problem with my sex life.
"Who are you, Liv?" I asked making him chuckle, "the day I meet my mate is the day I'll stop usin' women for sex."
"Well, Brother, that day may come sooner than you think," he winked walking out of the room and shutting the door behind him.
I sighed, knowing that, that day would never come.
Not everyone could be as lucky as Callum. He met his mate about a year ago and they seemed happier than a fat kid with muffins.
Aye nobody could be as lucky as my oldest Brother. Especially me.
