"Her pulse looks fine," After smacking my head against the chair.
"Can I stand up?" I ask the people around me with a bit of attitude with it. A little too close for comfort. All the medics in the room are asking me questions to see if I'm conscience. It's getting a little annoying because I clearly am. I decide not to answer them anyways and stand up as people hover over me still. More questions get asked, I need to speak up.
"I am conscience, the reason I'm here is because I am trying to file a missing person's report and I just got back from a date! Jeez!" I cover my mouth in embarrassment. That last part wasn't supposed to come out. I look in crowd and see Jason laughing to himself which causes me to smile too.
"Ma'am, we are just checking to see if you didn't get any head damage. It is a part of our protocol." I nod my head in agreement. I remember everything clearly, it's just that no one has checked to see if anyone has seen my missing dogs. I seemed to screw that up for myself.
"I am fine, I am sure, you can all go back to your work now," I saw as I shew them with my hands and plop down in a chair. All the workers sit back in there places and continue where they left off. Jason takes the seat next to me and he gives me a little smirk.
"A date huh," He looks into my eyes which put a sense of feeling back into me.
"No, It was just a casual coffee study," I say sarcastically. He laughs again and I laugh with him.
"Are you sure you're ok though. I mean you just did faint yesterday, do you have medical problem?" He says with a concerning voice.
"No, I don't have a medical problem. It's just, a lot of things happened recently that came to my shock." I say looking to my lap and back up at the clock. 5:30.
"Like..?" I turn my eyes back into his.
"Nothing, it's just... It's personal, ok," I say suddenly. I don't want him to know that I fainted because of him. He likes me and all apparently. However it is still really embarrassing.
"You know you can tell me, I have no one to tell."
"You really want to know?"
"Yes, please."
"Ok, it was for, my um... It was the missing people. They are my cousins, you know the ones that came from another country and can't speak english, you know'm right?" I ask frantically
"I have a feeling that that isn't the whole story?"
"What do you mean, that why were here. They are missing, it's really stressing me out."
"You didn't even try looking that hard," What does he know, he does know them. Now that I think about it, Sophia never told me If she did look for them. I look around the police station looking for Sophia. Nowhere to be found.
"What are you looking for?" Jason asks me I hear his voice, but I don't want to fill out three missing people's report. I stand up and check every corner and then the bathroom. Still, no one is found. I run back out to the lobby and see Jason standing at alert at me. I stare at him for a few seconds and I think he understand what I am looking for. We both run for the door and run across the parking lot and see a figure in his jeep. I run up to the back door and yank it open.
Sophia is bawling her eyes out with her sleeves. I climb in with her and observe her for a few second. Jason opens the side that I am seated and stands in the open doorway.
"Sophia, are you ok?" I put a hand on her shoulder as she blows more snot onto her sleeve. Who knew a cheerleader could act so immature.
"It's just, so many things are stressing me out. I lost the dogs, and then you fainted again. I guess I just lost control." She looks up from her sleeve and eyeballs Jason.
"Why don't you come inside, I can fix your makeup," She wipes one last tear from falling and hops out of the car with us. While walking Jason leans in close to me.
"I thought you said you were missing people, not dogs," He whispers.
"Long story," I whisper back.
"Too clique for me," He laughs and then goes to his original state. We enter the door and get a few stares from the police working there and Jason takes a seat while I guide Sophia to the bathroom. I fix up her makeup by wiping it all off. I honestly can't tell a difference when she wears makeup from her normal self. I can only tell when she cries and it smears all over her face. We walk back out and sit on the chairs again. After about a half an hour of silence, the desk clerk stands up.
"Ma'am, I think we've found who you were looking for,"

A/N
Hey. Thanks for anyone who's actually spending their time to read my really "great" story. So I ententually started writing this book a year ago and had a completely different idea with it. I kind of forgot about it for the longest time and completely forget how the storyline was supposed to go. I am here to tell you that I have figured everything out and I now have an ending worked out. Sorry for all those people who like really long stories but , ain't nobody got time for that!
Again, THANK YOU SUCH MUCH!
