Wendy's Nightmare

When it turns to night

Wendy's point of view:
I was now almost passing out, nearly falling to unconsciousness,when I try to take,just one step forward, my body seems to crumble, and my legs forget their purpose. My teammates were starting to really worry now, as night time had came and the moon arrived. Natsu, Gray ,Erza and even Romeo had offered me a piggyback ride. However we had to split into teams to start patrolling the village area. Gray ,Erza, Romeo were on one team, Lucy and Juvia on the other, and as for me, I was on a team with Natsu and Gajeel. At first the village seemed fairly quiet, and it felt relieving knowing we wouldn't have to fight. I was so exhausted, I barely had the strength to walk, let alone fight. But of course this wasn't the case, as a bright beam of red smoke emerged silently from the ground, blinding my vision so all I see and breathe in was pure red smoke. As the smoke dispersed a man in a flowing black coat came into vision, he was hiding his face beneath the black material of his cloak. I soon hear quick but soft footsteps echoing on the ground behind me. I could already tell it was Lucy,Gray,Romeo,Erza and Juvia.But despite all of this, something was off. I figured since the man was on his own he would have soldiers or allies at the ready facing against all of us. Something fishy was going on, and I didn't like it. The mysterious man placed the palm of his hands together, strays of red lights, swirling around him. A magic circle hidden under him. He murmured something quietly,
"Nightmare make..."
"A maker wizard, leave this to me." Gray said, already charging into battle.
But as the man murmured the last piece of his spell, Gray was sent flying into the wall, he screamed in inflicted pain.
"Nightmare make...blast"
I rushed over to heal Gray, a green light surrounding my hands. However a pile of red smoke blocked my path. The man stared at me coldly. I turned my head to see the furious looks on my comrades.
"Wendy heal Gray, we'll take care of this." Natsu said trustingly. As I ran to help Gray, I could hear battle cries,
"FIRE DRAGON ROAR"
"OPEN GATE OF THE WATER BEARER"
"WATER NEBULA"
"IRON DRAGON ROAR"
"EQUIP HEAVENS WHEEL"
"RAINBOW FIRE"
As I got closer to Gray my knees stumbled to the ground, and I stared to lose track of my sight, as everything was turning blurry.No not now, it can't be happening, not at a time like this. I forced myself to get up only to find all my guild mates had been thrown to the floor like rag dolls, knocked unconscious. Soon a red beam of light came plummeting towards me, and the next thing I knew, I was out cold.
What happened to Wendy? Who is this mysterious man? Why is he attacking the village? You'll have to find out in the next chapter. Thx for reading xx😊😊😊😊😊😄😄😄
