What I saw out my bedroom window

She has a honey spiral of hair trailing down her chest,
Her eyes sparkle like the night's stars
Have filled her dreamy head.
As these star-dusted fairies dance in the faded twinkle of night.
We watch them twirl with eyes alive and hearts on sparkling fire.
Some say they are stars in this forever garden
Where nothing is quite how it seems,
That have fallen out of night's hands
And tumbled amongst the heather and the weeds.
But I think we know, you and me
That these tiny, winged lovers sing,
A simple melody of joy and love -
In this magical garden, of fairy-dusted dreams.
