"I understand if you want me to leave." I was holding back so many tears, I was trying to seem strong although my heart was breaking into million pieces while I spoke those words and looked at his dark but somehow full of light eyes.

He looked at me, his eyes full of wonder and questions. "Why? Wait, what? Why would I ask you to leave? What are you talking about?" Christian stood up from the couch, looked frozen in his shoes.

I shook my head confused. "Are you saying you don't want to break up with me? After all these?" I sighed, letting some tears roll down my cheek but wiped them away immediately.

"(Y/N), no! Of course not!" He pulled me in a tight hug before I even realised what exactly had happened. "Is this about Justin? Did you think I'd break up with you because Justin's acting like a little brat? Is this what it's all about?"

"Well, isn't it?" I pulled back, searching for his eyes to make sure I was going to be fine, I was alright, I was safe. "Haven't you had enough of Justin acting like I should be his when he hardly has any love feelings for me?"

"I don't care. I love you, I love Justin and I'm glad you're both in my life but Justin always does shit like that. Besides, he loves you but not the way I love you. He loves you like a friend and what he feels for you right now is plain desire, possession. And that only happens because he realised that you're not going to be by his side, babysitting him all the time now that you've found me. I believe we can overcome that and he'll stop being afraid of losing you and acting like that." Christian explained all these simply as if he was some kind of psychologist and that was when I realised that he was right after all. Justin was just overreacting. But that made me feel no better; he had committed suicide, that wasn't something to leave behind like that.

"And what about his suicide attempt?" I held Christian's hands in mine, tightly. My hands were cold but his were so warm they even warmed me up inside.

Christian sighed. His eyes landed on the ground before he'd look back at me. "We'll go easy on him until we make sure he's totally fine. We're gonna get through this together. I promise." Christian kissed my forehead before hugging me again. Never have I ever felt so incredibly safe near to anybody. Christian made me whole again.

*1 year later*

"Congratulations (Y/N)!! I'm so proud of you, babe!" He hugged me gently and gave me a soft kiss on the cheek before letting me go and greet my family and other friends as well.

"(Y/N)! Honey, we're so proud!" My parents hugged me tightly and talked to me for more than ten minutes about how proud they were that I graduated college and how mature I should be now that I'll start a new life. Christian was standing by my side, listening to my parents as well while I giggled at his facial expression. He looked deadly serious and maybe that's what my mom admired about him the most. But for me, even when his face looked serious, it was funny because I knew how he was not serious most of the time especially around me and our friends.

"You should go now, babies, and be careful, okay? Don't drink too much, don't stay out till very late, if you drink, don't drive home, better get someone else to give you a lift." My mom was giving us the casual advice like she did every time I left home when I was younger.

"Fine, woman, let the kids have fun." My dad stopped my mom from going on and on with her caution rules.

Me and Christian giggled as we walked away towards his new car. "BMW was a good choice." I teased him softly when I caught him staring at the car with such an admiration. I don't remember any cars other than BMW all these years that I've known him, yet the new car had to be a BMW again.

"Excuse me, it's not my fault that they're the very best." He defended his choices while I laughed a bit.

"They truly are though. And you know why I like them the most?" I agreed with him, smiling softly.

"Hm, what?"

"Because you love them." I made things a bit cheesy but still made him smile. "And I like whatever you love."

"Do you like yourself?" Christian looked at me, ready to burst into laughter.

I frowned. "Eh, I'm working on it." I shrugged and heard him laugh out loud. I swear, I hadn't heard anything better than his laugh even if someone thought it was the worst of them all.

"So, Miss 'I graduated college!', where do you want to go to for the summer?" Christian took off his jacket before we got in the car.

Truly, it was so hot I couldn't wait to get home and change into light pajama material and lay down doing nothing.

"How about home?" I seemed like a grumpy cat but it wasn't my fault, I blame the weather.

"Home as in L.A, Canada or your place?" Christian smirked.

"Actually, I don't care as long as I'm with you. You feel like home to me."

"Miami it is then!" He got in the car and started the engine before I could even agree.

But I had no better ideas anyway! Miami sounded like the best place to celebrate a graduation and escape a boring routine like mine. Christian and I next to a Miami beach was all I needed to relax.

A/N: Happy birthday Christian! Our future husband is turning 23! OMG! I can't believe how fast time goes by! And this book is close to the end!
