If you asked me what my thoughts were about camping months ago, I would definitely reply with a 'no'. I was quite negative towards it but after I started dating Christian and hearing all those stories about how many times he and his friends enjoyed their camping days together, I changed my mind. This time, I was with him on a camping adventure that I was hoping would have a happy end. I was really scared of insects especially the last three years and I even read in an article that fear of the insects might be due to anxiety. And it is widely known that fear leads to anxiety, too. Anyways, my point was that I loved nature but if there was a chance for me to change the world, I would not include the insects in it. All kinds of insects and bugs. I hate them!

Christian was holding me tightly in his arms as the night was certainly more chilly than in L.A and we were also sleeping in a tent somewhere in the middle of the woods with only one or two blankets over us. I shivered a bit as a soft breeze touched the back of my neck, I buried my face in Christian's chest even more. It was almost morning, it must have been around 5 am, I wasn't entirely sure. I was so calm and peaceful until I had to raise my head abruptly and widen my eyes when I heard the classic noise that big ass wasps do! It scared the living hell out of me and before I could even see where it was, I heard Christian yelling "Oh my God!!!" and running away ahead of me. I, of course, ran after him since I was so scared of it. Christian looked shocked, I wanted to laugh so bad but it wasn't the time for laughing especially since I was scared of the wasp as well.

"You didn't tell me you're scared of fucking bugs!" I stated, shaking my head while shivering.

"Me? Well, you didn't mention anything either!" Christian defended himself in a quick tone which made me roll my eyes.

"Right, who's gonna kill it now? And screw it, I'm not staying any longer in this camping trip of yours! We should've stayed home!"

Christian looked at me all serious. "Are you kidding me right now!?" His comic voice only made this funnier instead of something serious. "You agreed!"

"I did but I didn't quite think what I would do in case wasps invaded our tent!" I said in a defensive tone, sighing. "Besides, how the fuck did it get in?" I practically yelled the last part out of my fear and anxiety hitting me.

"Watch out!!" Christian pushed me back making us both trip and fall on the ground where he laid on top of me with all his weight pushing me down even more. "Sorry, the wasp came out of the tent." He mumbled, his eyes meeting mine.

"No offense but I can hardly breathe..." I tried to make the words sound normal but instead they came out as I was being squeezed which, as a matter of fact, I was.

Christian immediately moved and stood up, helping me up as well. "Oh my god, I'm sorry!" He exhaled while I was gaining my balance back.

I nodded at him. "At least the wasp left without hurting us or being hurt." I said, brushing away the dust off of my pants.

"Dude, I love nature but you were right. This camping shit ain't for us!" Christian said shaking his hand in front of me while he talked.

I slowly walked back in the tent to pick up some of our stuff. "Let's go home."

*skipping time*

"No better place than home." Christian exhaled as he opened widely the door to his apartment and I literally threw myself on the couch without even taking off a piece of clothe.
