"Hello San Francisco! Whoo!!" Christian yelled at the top of his lungs, I rolled my eyes like I always do.

"Here we go." I sighed trying to pick up our luggage from the ground and get to the hotel as soon as possible after this tiring flight.

"Oh come on, show some happy spirit, baby." Christian pouted making me want to roll my eyes again.

I faked a laugh. "Yay! San Francisco! Hooray!" My face turned emotionless again.

"Jesus, (Y/N)!" Christian was the one who rolled his eyes now. "Okay. Think positive. You're here with me!" He said excited.

"I gotta admit that's very positive but still, I am very tired Christian." I complained pouting like a child.

"Let's go to the hotel then and I'll let you take a nap for some time, shall we?" He smiled sweetly making me feel better and as if being tired didn't even matter that moment.

I nodded. "Alright, thanks. And then I promise we'll do whatever you want."

"Guys! Welcome! We're terribly sorry that you missed the flight but I personally cannot hide the fact that I laughed at that!" Curtis was saying and laughing at the same time before bear-hugging me and Christian together.

"It's nice to see you again, Curt. I've missed you." I mumbled before letting go.

We all arranged to meet up at John's place although John was still not there. If I understood that well, Christian said that John had invited Justin and the other guys over, let them in and he left for a while, then he will join us again. Anyways, I had no problem.

"Hey!! Christian!" I heard Bach saying and saw him waving at Christian when Christian started walking towards him.

"Oh my God, Lele!! How are you, girl? I haven't talked to you for ages!" I hugged Lele tightly and she hugged me back as tightly as I had. "I'm great, how are you and Christian?" Lele asked me when she pulled back and we started the small talk.

With the corner of my eye, I could see Justin standing a bit far away from us. I hadn't noticed if he greeted Christian but he surely hadn't greeted me at all yet. I was feeling too uncomfortable to turn my head and look right away at him, I didn't even know how to approach him normally. My palms got sweaty and my heart was beating faster when the corner of my eye caught him moving towards Lele and I.

"Oh, Christian!" Lele turned away from me and ran to hug Christian, leaving me alone, the greatest chance Justin got to approach me.

"Hey, aren't you going to say 'hi' to me or something?" Justin chuckled making me shift uncomfortably.

"Hey, how are you?" I managed to smile softly at him, a soft, warm and friendly smile hoping he wouldn't notice my awkward feelings.

"I'm actually very well, how about you?" He smiled back at me with a big, cute smile.

"I'm glad you're doing fine. I'm good, thanks."

"By the way, John will be here soon and I think it's time you meet my girlfriend, Hailey." Justin smiled sweetly at me while I was both confused and relieved about that.

"Yeah, um, before that, can I ask something?" Of course, I didn't mind that he had a partner, I was happy about it but I wanted to make sure that our friendship was still pure.

"Yes, go ahead." He smiled again. He seemed happy for the first time in forever.

"Is everything between us alright? Are we..is our..A-are we still friends? I had been chewing my words, unsure of how to exactly state what I felt.
