Puso ko ma'y lalaban
Wala pa ring makakamtan
Dahil kahit anong aking gagawin
Pagmamahal mo'y hindi maging akin.
Hindi mo ba makita
Na ako'y para lang sa iyo?
Hindi mo ba makita
Na ang pagmamahal ko'y totoo?
Masakit talaga
Na iba ang iyong minamahal.
Pero dapat alamin mo
Na ang pusong ito'y hindi susuko.
Translation:
Even though my heart will fight
I will achieve nothing
Because even though I'll do anything
Your love can never be mine.
Can't you see
That I am only yours?
Can't you see
That my love is true?
It really hurts
That you love another
But you have to know
That this heart won't surrender.
The title is a bit irrelevant, don't you think? 😕
