Jason's POV
It's been a month since Ryan left Nashville. We talked for about a week after she left, and then she just stopped replying and answering the phone. I miss her so much it literally hurts. Yes, I know, I sound pathetic. I have started my Burnin' It Down tour and I think it's going to be my best tour yet. I'm looking through my tour plans and I see that in about a week I'll be in Oklahoma City. Maybe while I'm there I can go to Yukon to see Ryan. I hope that I can get her to talk to me.

Ryan's POV
It's been a month since I left Nashville. I haven't talked to Jason much since about 3 weeks ago. I sent a demo to Broken Bow Records when I got home and they signed me a week later. It's weird that Jason and I are on the same label, especially since I haven't had time to tell him anything, but I'm excited. My manager is trying to set me up some small shows to get me started. "Ryan, I booked you a performance!" My manager, Kara, said. "Oh my God! That's awesome. What is it?" I asked excitedly. "You're gonna do a show with Jason Aldean. Kelly Clarkson was supposed to do it but she canceled." Kara said. I stood there in shock for a minute before I spoke. "Ok, that's fine. But I want it to be a surprise for Jason. Don't let him know that it's me." I tell her with a smile. Kara nods her head and gets on the phone. I can't wait to see the look on his face.

Tonight is the night I'm doing Jason's show. They have been hiding me from him all day. I'm so excited to do this. I got my hair and makeup done and now I'm trying to pick out my outfit. I finally just decide to put on a white tank top and my jean shorts. I'm sliding on my boots when someone knocks on the door of my bus. "Miss Sanders, we are ready for you." "Alright, I'm coming." I tell them walking out the door. "Let's do this!" I shout walking towards the stage. I'm hidden side stage and I hear the music for Don't You Wanna Stay and a crew member tosses me my mic. It got to Kelly's part and I walk out on stage singing. I thought Jason's eyes were going to pop out of his head when he saw me. We managed to make it through the song with ease. As I hit my last note, Jason walks up and gives me a side hug. "Y'all give it up for Ryan Sanders!" Jason yells into his mic. After we hug, Jason runs off stage to take a break and I get to sing my single that comes out next week. "Ok guys, I'm going to sing you my new song that comes out next week. It's called Jesus, Take the Wheel and I hope you like it." I say as I start the song. When  I finished, the crowd went insane. I waved goodbye and walked off stage.

Jason's POV
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Ryan and heard her sing. My manager wouldn't tell me who he chose to replace Kelly. He said it was surprise. And boy was I surprised. Ryan sang her song and it sounded amazing. I knew she wrote music but I had no idea she could sing like that. I finished my show and took off running. I have to talk to Ryan. I see her talking to who I assume is her manager and I walk over them. "Hey Ryan, do you have a minute?" I ask as I walk up to them. The other woman excuses herself and Ryan hugs me. "I'm sorry for not responding for the last few weeks Jason. I got this record deal and they've been keeping me in the studio so much I haven't had time to talk to anyone." She says looking at me sadly. "It's ok. I understand. How do you feel about finishing this tour with me?" I ask her with a smile. "I would love that. Plus, I'll get to spend more time with you." She says pulling my face to hers and kissing me. "I'll have my people call your people." I say with a smirk as I pull away.
