Chapter Twenty Nine

Ryan's POV
It's been 3 months since Paisley was born and today is the day that we can finally bring her home. "Keeley, can you come down here for a second?" I yell up the stairs. "Yes ma'am?" Keeley asks as she comes downs the stairs. "We are going to get Paisley and bring her home. We will probably be gone for a couple hours. Will you be okay here with Kendyl and Jax or do you want me to call Caroline?" I ask her and she starts smiling. "No, I think we will be fine. I'll call if something happens and I have Caroline's number if I need it." Keeley says. "Alright, love you baby girl. We will be home soon." Jason says grabbing Paisley's empty car seat and we walk out the door. I'm so ready to bring my baby home.

Jason and I walk in the hospital and head straight for the third floor to the nursery. When we walk in, the nurse has just finished feeding her. "I'll let the doctor know that you are here so he can come talk to you and I'll get the discharge papers ready." She says politely handing Paisley over to Jason. "You hear that precious angel? You get to come home with mommy and daddy today." Jason says kissing her head. The doctor finally comes in and I don't know why, but I get nervous. "Mr. and Mrs. Williams. Everything with your daughter is perfect. She has developed and moved along very nicely. As soon as you sign the papers you are free to take her home." As he walks out, I look over at Jason and kiss him softly. "Let's get our girl ready to go home."

Walking into the house, the girls immediately ran down the stairs to see the baby. "Can I hold her?" Kendyl asks happily. "If both you girls will wash your hands and help Jaxon wash his, then you can hold her." I tell them as I start getting Paisley out of her seat. Kendyl comes running back in the room and sitting next to me on the couch. "Remember to support her head." Jason says as he helps her get situated. I get up to grab my phone out of my purse to take pictures for the grandparents. Watching all the kids with Paisley makes me emotional. Three months ago, we were all scared that this day wouldn't come. Jason and I cried ourselves to sleep many nights worried about our baby. I really do have a blessed life. I have the perfect man and 4 perfect children. It doesn't get better than this.

Jason's POV
Having Paisley home with all of us is a dream come true and a weight lifted. There is a light in my wife's eyes that wasn't there a couple months ago. I've missed it. "Girls, y'all need to go get your stuff together. Your mom will be here soon." I tell them and they make their way upstairs. I walk over to the couch and sit with Ryan and Jaxon. "What do you think about your little sister big man?" I ask Jaxon with a smile. "Ew, she stinks!" He yells plugging his nose. "I guess that's my cue to change her." Ryan says laughing and scrunching up her nose.

"Keeley, Kendyl! Your mom is here!" I shout up the stairs before answering the door. I let Jessica in and we head to sit down in the living room and wait for the girls. Ryan comes down with Paisley and sits next to me. "I'm happy that Paisley is finally home. She's beautiful." Jessica says with a small smile. "Do you want to hold her?" Ryan asks her. Jessica simply nods and Ryan hands her Paisley. Over the years, things have gotten a little better between Ryan and Jessica. Sometimes it's still a little tense, but they are trying for the sake of the girls. Keeley and Kendyl finally make their way downstairs. "Hey, there's my babies." Jessica says with a smile. "Y'all ready to go home?" The girls nod and hug me and Ryan. "Love you girls. See you in a few weeks ok?" I tell them as they let go. Jessica hands Paisley back to Ryan and the girls each kiss her head. Jessica takes the girls and they head back to Georgia.

After we get Jaxon tucked in and Paisley is in her bassinet next to our bed, I curl up next to an already sleeping Ryan. "Thank you for being my video girl. You are one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I can't imagine my life without you. You have added two perfect babies to our little family. I love you so much. You will always be my video girl."
