Chapter Twenty Six

Jason's POV
I wake up this morning with an excited feeling. Today we get to find out the sex of the baby. Jessica actually let me have the girls for the weekend so that they can be apart of this. I'm happy with a boy or a girl, but I wouldn't mind another son. I also know that Ryan really wants a daughter of her own. I get out of bed and go downstairs to see all three of my kids eating cereal and Ryan is in the laundry room folding clothes. "You could've woken me up and I would've helped you baby." I say walking into the laundry room. "It's ok baby. You can clean everything up and get Jaxon dressed for the party while I get ready if you want." She says wrapping her arms around me and kissing me. "Well you know I would be happy to." I kiss her again and she makes her way upstairs.

I get Jaxon dressed in his boots and jeans with a nice blue polo shirt. Of course, he wants a baby brother. I check on the girls and they are just about ready to go. I make my way into the master bedroom to check on Ryan and get myself ready. I walk into the room and my jaw hits the floor when I see Ryan. She looks breathtaking. She has on a blue dress with pink flowers, representing either gender, and her hair is in loose curls. Just the way I like it. "Baby, you look stunning." I tell her as she's finishing her make up. "Thank you, but I feel like a whale." "You are not a whale. You are carrying my baby and that is the sexiest and most beautiful thing in the world." I tell her and she gets a huge smile on her face. "I'm gonna take a shower and get ready and then we will head out."

Ryan's POV
We arrive at Kara's for the gender reveal party that her and Miranda are throwing for me. I'm so excited that I can stand it. The girls and Jaxon seem to be excited but I'm interested to see how they react when we find out what it is. When we walk through the front door everyone cheers and comes to hug us. Kara tells every that it's time to eat so we all make our way to kitchen to make a plate. "Everyone eat fast. I'm anxious to know what this baby is." I say causing the room to fill with laughter.

Finally, everyone is done eating and we are getting ready for the reveal. "Before you open the box, I made a gift for y'all." Caroline, Luke's wife, says handing Jason and I each a bag. I open mine first and it is a black t-shirt that says "Preggers." Jason opens his and he also gets a black t-shirt that says "The Man Behind the Bump." We laugh and hug Caroline and tell her thank you. "Alright, y'all come back over and open this damn box." Miranda says with a smile. "You ready baby?" Jason asks. "Let's do it." We open the top of the box and pink balloons come out. I'm so excited that I instantly start crying. "We're having a girl!" Jason shouts as everyone cheers.
