Ryan's POV
Jaxon is 6 weeks old now and is so precious. Jason left last night to go and pick up Keeley and Kendyl so that they can come and meet their baby brother. Kendyl had been sick when Jaxon was born and we didn't want to risk it so we waited a few weeks. Last night was my first night alone with the baby and I'm surprised he slept all night. I'm laying in bed playing on my phone and enjoying the peace and quiet when my phone rings. I smile to myself when I see Jason's name and picture pop up. "Hey hubby!" "Hey wifey!" Jason says laughing. "Are you heading home?" "Yeah we should be there around lunch time. How's little man doing?" He asks. "He's good. He has slept all night and is still sleeping. I really wish you were home right now. I need you." I tell him in a seductive voice. "You can't do that to me baby. I promise, tonight it is on." He says and I laugh. We hang up right about the time Jaxon starts crying.

I've got Jaxon wrapped in a blanket and I'm sitting on the front porch swing waiting for Jason to get home. I start singing to him and Jason pulls into the driveway. "I'll have to finish the song later baby boy. Your daddy and sisters are home." I say kissing his head and walking off the front porch. Keeley and Kendyl jump out of the truck and run over and hug me before they start begging to see Jaxon. "Y'all go inside and wash your hands and sit on the couch and then y'all can hold him." I tell them laughing and they take off running inside. "There's my beautiful wife." Jason says as he leans in and kisses me. After we pull away, Jason takes Jaxon and we walk inside.

Jason's POV
I haven't seen the girls this excited since I told them that they were gonna have a baby brother. Granted it wasn't that long ago but it's still amazing. Ryan has taken motherhood like a champ. It looks good on her. After dinner, we got the girls bathed and in bed and Ryan is sitting on our bed feeding Jaxon. "Are you sure you want to do this tonight baby?" I ask her as she is finishing up with Jaxon. "Well of course. Why wouldn't I?" She says with a wink. I carefully pick Jaxon up so I don't wake him and carry him to his nursery.

I walk back to the room after laying Jaxon down and I'm stripping off my shirt. "I've been waiting for this for...." I stop mid sentence when I see Ryan is already sound asleep. I guess I will have to wait one more night. I climb in bed and curl up next to Ryan and wrap my arm around her. "You are one of the most amazing people in my life. I love you with my whole heart and soul." I whisper kissing her cheek. I'm so happy that she picked me.
