CHAPTER THREE - Beginning.
"Melissa," he began, " Please, call me Mel." I only ever got called Melissa when I was in trouble. I got all four name. Melissa Elisha Deanna Swell. Mum would shout, only about silly little things though, like a peg I've left on the floor or my dirty clothes on the bathroom tiles. Mum and I got along great. Our personalities just fit each other. We were more like friends than mother and daughter. I pulled the teabags out the mugs and began to walk outside. Aaron followed me smiling as I juggled the hot cuppas. "Why don't you help me you basturd!" I said sharply, he smirked and grabbed both mugs from my hands.
Mum, Dad, Rob and Carly were all laughing inside a cloud of smoke. The four boys were playing totem tennis and laughing. Greg had been hit in the face multiple times because little Greg was smashing the ball with all his might. "Do you fellas wanna go to the estuary?" Rob asked chirpily. Him and Dad wanted to see what the water was like, seeing as it was crab season. "YUS!" they all shouted in sync. They threw their rackets to the ground and began to run behind the dorms towards the estury. They trekked to the estuary, staggering bare foot. Mum and Carly had cruisers and cigarettes as they disappeared behind dorms. Aaron looked at me. "Finally, some bloody privacy!" I smiled at him as he pat the grass motioning me to sit down.
