I looked at the nigga crazy. My sister is now crying.. For what? "Trelly I'm okay, go inside. I don't want no trouble."

"Nah he asking for trouble coming over here. What's going on? Why the hell I hear yelling like you live here nigga?"

"I don't wanna have problems with you but I ain't gonna be no punk. So if you got a problem then throw your hands."

Did this little nigga- "No please Trell go in the house."

I was already Bouta whoop his ass walking his way. Janaia grabbed my arm. I shrugged her off and watched Jeremiah throw up his hands. I swung on him catching his jaw and he fell. That's good enough. I mean he's a little nigga. If I really wanted him beat down I could've Leyah for that. Her being in the house with all dudes she got the strength of a dude.

I started walking back in the house grabbing Janaia with me but nigga grabbed me by my neck. I turned around and he snuffed my lip. Cool. I punched him again hitting him with a combo. He wasn't gonna win cuz I knew his moves before he made them. I caught his fist and got him good in his ribs. I watched him choke up. I slammed him in the grass then gun shots went off. My head snapped up to see my mother with a gun in the air. What? Ooh I forgot I gave her that her last year.

"Stop that damn fighting right this second! We gonna sit down and be civilized." I looked up seeing Elle hold Tresey face away from me. Damn, I hope she ain't see any of that. "Get him off the ground."

I looked at my mother crossed. I think that was the only time I disobeyed my mother as an adult. I left him right there and went in the house grabbing Tresey.

"Dwaddy why your lip fat?" She asked as I sat her on my lap.

"I don't know baby. But I'll be okay, alright?"

She nodded and then laid on my chest. "Your heart going ba-bom, ba-bom fast."

I laughed as Elle sat next to me. "You alright?" I nodded. "Why you beat him like he's a little boy Trelly?"

"Same little boy who broke my sister and almost got her pregnant. I ain't gonna have him come strolling over here like everything is okay. Then he wanna get crazy? Nah I ain't letting that fly at all."

I tried to calm down cuz Tresey was still laying on my chest but then I see my mother bringing him in. "Jerry?" Elle goes.

"Nyelle?"

How the hell they know each other? This nigga was pissing me off more and more by the second. But he a young nigga so I know they couldn't of had a thing. Tresey was falling asleep and I'm glad she is. I'm Bouta kill something.

"What you doing here?" Elle asked him walking his way.

I laid Tresey on the couch while Leyah sat down next to her eating some chips looking entertained. Janaia was staring between Jeremiah and Elle. While my mother was doing the same.

"Tryna get my girlfriend back," he gave a fake smile.

"Aw," Elle smiles.

"Nah he gotta go. He don't have no girlfriend here," I said about to grab him.

"Let them talk Latrell," my mother goes throwing my full name around when that's only suppose to be said around family and trustees. I don't know this nigga Jeremiah like that. And I for surely don't trust him. "I'm tired of your disrespect today! You grown but I surely am still your mother and this is my damn house!"

"Janaia is gonna talk to him in the kitchen." My mother continues getting calmer.

"I'm not a baby Prince," Janaia sighs. "Listen to mamma. I'm not gonna have sex with him in the kitchen."

My mother looked a little thrown off. Then Elle touches my shoulder. "Please sit down and relax. He's a good kid."

I look at Elle now like she's an enemy. I go and sit and Leyah looks at me and nods. "I got ya follow up."

I nod and look at Tresey sleeping body. She looked just like Janaia. It made me smile. But then think about how Tresey would soon be in Janaia position and talking to boys. Ima make sure my baby girl don't ever get hurt by no nigga. I failed with Janaia but we always pinky swore when we were younger if someone hurt her I'd always have her back. And she'd always have mine.

"What you thinking about?" Elle asks resting her head on my shoulder.

"How you know that little boy?" I ask.

"Trelly what happened to trust this and you trust me Nyelle?" She shot back. "He's a little boy what could he possibly do?"

"You ain't answer my question." I stated firmly.

"One of the students in the school I used to intern at. He's a good respectful kid. Why you beefin with him besides the fact he was with your sister?"

"That's it. That's all the reason I need. I don't wanna talk about it or ima get angry," I left it at that.

"What you gonna do when Tresey gets older?" She ask.

"Carry a shot gun and have a sign that says any trespassers will be shot. Forget that if anybody even thinks of Latrese Princess Velmont the wrong way I'm killing them." I say straight faced.

Elle busts out laughing. I shake my head and can't help but laugh. "You are gonna have this girl on lockdown."

"She don't need no boy to lie and say he love her cuz ima be here telling her facts. I love her and I'm all she need," I say. "I try to tell Janaia that but she fell for the swindle."

"So what about me?" She goes. "You just acted like my father-"

"I like you. I'm a nigga tryna settle down.."

"Using the swindle?" She shot back with a smirk so I knew she was playing.

"If I used the swindle you'd already be having my baby," I licked my lips causing her to blush and roll her eyes. I grabbed her chin lightly and she kissed me shortly.

"This is your moms house Trelly," she said softly with her eyes closed.

I smirked. "Am I intruding son?" I looked up seeing my Uncle Jay smiling.

"I'm sorry Uncle Jay," I laughed standing up. I have him a pound. "How you?"

"I'm straight but you being rude." He said then glanced at Elle.

"Oh, I'm sorry. This my girl Uncle Jay. Nyelle this my Uncle," I say introducing her.

"Hi nice to meet you," Elle smiles.

He looks at her closely and smiled. "The pleasure is mine sweetheart." That's just how my Uncle spoke so I wasn't sweating it.

"You must be Julians father," she said.

"Yeah now you see the origin of good looks," he smiled. Elle laughs. "This your daughter?" He turns to Nyelle and she just looks at me.

"About that Uncle Jay.." I say picking up Tresey as she started waking up slowly. She rubbed her eyes and I watched her stretch. "Who she look like?"

"Your mother had a secret child with your father?" He looks at her all interested. "Or Janaia. Don't make me-"

"This my daughter," I say.

"What I miss?" He shot back. "Shit she look just like you."

"Long story Uncle Jay. I met her on my trip to Cali," I shake my head.

"Understood neph," he nodded and gave me a pound. I saw him smile at Janaia then say, "Babies are always a blessing."

I nod. Crazy how looking in Tresey eyes, I slowly calmed down and with Elle's soft touch on my shoulder. I could get used to this, my mini family of my own. This was aight, I guess. But a good thing never last. Remember that.

Got good comments that almost made me cry. The fact that I could put a picture in my rafters mind and make then fell like they're a part of the book makes me happy. And thanks for the suggestions, not gonna blow nobody up but they know who they are. Sorry for the wait babies.
