I got in the house with my mother and baby Jay behind me. The entire car ride here was quiet. As soon as I came in I see Elle watching tv with Tresey in her arms.
"Dwaddeee, Jay, gwamma," she smiled jumping up.
"Hey baby, let daddy go take a shower."
I felt bad for not hugging her but I couldn't find myself to. Not after what I just did. I always been like that with Leah, baby Jay, and my moms but seeing the hurt in her eyes hurt me. I think Janaia realized because she grabbed her up.
"Wassup little stuff," she hugged her.
"I'll be back Elle," I say then run up the steps.
I know she's most likely gonna come upstairs to see if I'm okay but I need to wash away this feeling. I wanna smoke so bad but all I got is my emergency stash. Shit this is an emergency. I locked the bathroom door and started to roll up. Good thing inside the shower there's a window because I don't want them to know I was smoking. My mother is really the only one who can tell and maybe baby Jay. But I ain't gonna odee just a couple drags.

I came out the bathroom seeing Elle sitting on the bed. "You good baby?" I ask a little more relaxed from earlier.
"Yeah I'm fine. You okay?" she asked with a concerned look on her face.
"I'm straight." I say.
"You look like that shower did you good, you looked all types of stressed when you came in," she said making me smile.
"The shower hit the spot on everything," I hug her waists as she comes closer to me.
"You sure you okay?" she asked as I kissed her neck softly.
"You here, right?" I lean forward kissing her softly on the lips. "Tresey sleep?"
"No that girl took two naps today," she said.
I laughed and for some reason Alicia popped up in my head. I told her I was going to Ju crib which I still should do. I don't want her to get suspicious of my day and I wanted to actually check Rina. We argue but that's my homie. But mainly cuz I gotta put Ju on.
"Let's go to Ju crib, get dressed." I say kissing her cheek.
"Okay, go talk to Tresey she looked sad when you ain't give her a hug." she said raising an eye brow.
I nod and put on my boxers as she went in my walk in closet. I threw on a t-shirt and some basketball shorts. I ran downstairs seeing Tresey laying on baby Jay stomach.
I smiled. "How's daddy baby girl?"
I saw Tresey smile then frown. "You don't like me daddy?"
Damn. I looked at her serious little face. I almost laughed but then she put on this pout that made me grab her and hold her. I sat her on my lap on the couch and she covered her face.
"Look at me Latrese." I say. Her hands were still glued to her face so I started to tickle her. "Can I see your pretty face?"
"You only say I pretty because I look like youw," she mumbled making me chuckle.
"But you're still beautiful. Like auntie Jay and grandma," I say.
"What about mommy?" she peeked.
I sighed. She covered her face again and I hesitated. "Yes like mommy too." I heard Elle at the top of the steps but I continued to talk to Tresey. "Listen Princess I love you , understand?"
"So why you not give me hug and kiss when you come back home?" she asked uncovering her face. I smiled and she quickly covered her face again.
"Daddy has a really dirty job Princess," I sigh trying not to think about the job I did today with my baby girl on my lap. "Listen, I love you okay."
