Lisa's POV

"I... I don't know yet... I struggle with opening up to people. My dad abused me for 28 years and I still struggle with showing my feeling to anyone. I'm sorry Steven but can we take it slow?" Though her words stung, I understood where she was coming from.

My feelings overflowed. "That is completely fine. Just know that I don't usually take no as an answer, but I will for you. We can slow down."

"Good. Ask me later and I might respond differently." She said as she cocked one eyebrow up.

I put on hand on her waist and kissed her on the cheek.

'What a cutie' I thought

Nothing was going to stand in my way. Although we were in public and the press could pop out, this was more important because I loved her.

Lisa's POV

I knew this man was falling for me and I was falling for him too, but I just couldn't open up yet.

"I am into you Lisa and will protect you, no matter what crazy things your dad does. I will always be here for you." He hugged me so tight I never wanted to let go.

"I'm into you too, Steven." I whispered in his ear. He had a smile from ear to ear like a proud little boy.

He bought me a new phone. I was so grateful for Steven. I had to change my number. I also transferred all my contacts I remembered into my phone.

"So are you going to give me you number, cutie?" Steven said with a wide smirk on his face.

"Of course I am. Only if you give me yours." I gave Steven my phone and he entered his contact as I entered my contact into his phone.

And now I was ready to call Ruth.

I dialed her number that I memorized into my phone. It rank once then I got an answer.

"Hello? Ruth this is Lisa calling from my new phone..." I was worried she might reject my request to stay at her appartment.

Steven noticed and put his arm around my waist. He really knows how to ease my thoughts.

The phone was silent for a moment.
"OH MY GOSH LISA I AM SO GLAD TO HEAR FROM YOU! I was starting to get worried so I called you old phone and you didn't pick up!" She was so happy.

"Yea so I'm in Austin, Texas and-" Ruth practicly yelled screamed into the phone.

"YOU ARE WHERE? OH MY GOSH GIRL WHAT ARE YOU NEAR SO WE CAN MEET UP?!" I had to pull the phone back from my ear she was so loud.

"Ruth chill out you are hurting my ear! And to anwser your question, I am near your appartment and need some place to stay. So I would really like to stay with you if that is ok?" I giggled. I knew her answer. She couldn't say no to me.

"Of course you can come stay with me! Ya head on over to my appartment! I am room 24 on the second level... If you didn't know." She was sooo excited.

"Ok I'll be on my way... By the way I'm bringing Steven Tyler." I herd a huge fangirl scream over my phone. We both loved Aerosmith and their music.

"WHAT-" Then I hung up the phone to keep her on the edge of her seat. I burst out laughing.

Steven looked at me.
"Well I'm guessing she is a fan of Aerosmith as well?"

"Sure is!" I said with a laugh. Ruth was probably doing backflips in her apartment because she is so happy. That girl is crazy, I thought.

Steven walked me back to his motorcrycle and we got on. I put the jacket and the helmet on as Steven did the same. Then I made sure my luggage was secured on my back.

I put my hands tight around Steven's waist and inched up closer to him.
"Hold on tight baby!" He yelled over the loud sound of the bike starting up. And of we went to see my best friend.
