Lisa's POV
September 10th
I sprang out of bed realizing what today was: Ruth and Joe's wedding day.
I grabbed the red dress I picked out for all the bridesmaids (they had their own), and ran down stairs, towing Steven behind me. He grabbed his suit and we ran out the door to my car. I jammed the keys into the ignition, and we took off to the wedding ceremony.
Ruth wanted to have the wedding in the morning around 12:00 a.m. ish, and considering it was 10:00 a.m. now, we had to hurry. We still had to do makeup and I don't even know if Ruth was in her dress.
~~~~
"Good luck baby." I said and kissed Steven goodbye
"Good luck." he said, smiling wildly
Steven and I separated into our different rooms. He went to Joe's and I went to Ruth's, along with the rest of the bridesmaids of course.
"Ruth you look beautiful!" I said, giving her a huge bear hug.
"Thanks baby girl, but I just did my make up so if you smudge it, we are going to have a problem." she joked
I giggled "Mmk." I ran over to the makeup chair so the assistants could do my make up and hair.
11:30 a.m.
I threw on my dress, avoiding smudging my makeup, and ran out to see if all the bridesmaids were ready.
"Y'all ready to do this?" I said as they all looked at me.
"Sure am!" they all said simultaneously
We put a few more finaling touches on our makeup and hair, and then took our positions next to the altar where Ruth and Joe would stand. We practiced the ceremony before hand, so we knew what we were doing.
Then the music started, Joe looked down the aisle. Steven and I exchanged contact, which made me giggle because he had on a wide proud Cheshire cat grin. The suit he was in was searsucker white and blue striped, and it fit him really well.
Ruth walked down the aisle, and all eyes were on her as Joe began to tear up.
~~~~
"Ruth Ryder, do you take Joseph Perry to be your husband? To cherish and love through out your lives and to grow old with?" The man said between Ruth and Joe
"I do." Ruth said, though her voice cracked witch meant she was holding back all the years in her body so her makup wouldn't be messed up.
The man turned to Joe "Joseph Perry, do you take Ruth Ryder to be your husband? To cherish and love through out your lives and to grow old with?"
"I do." Joe said
"Well by the power invested in me, I know pronouce you Man and Wife. You man now kiss the bride." The man said
Joe cupped his hands in Ruth's face and kissed her.
The crowed hollered and cheered, and now it was time to dance.
~~~~
"Well hello there Mrs. Perry. Congratulations!" I said, walking up to Ruth
She giggled and jumped into my arms. "Thanks! I'm so happy!"
"I'm glad." I said and pulled back from her hug
She walked back to Joe for the first dance, while I looked around for Steven. I stood on my tippie toes so I could see above people's heads when I felt his strong hands wrap around my waist.
I giggled and turned around. "For the record, you look really good in a that suit." I said, tapping his chest
"Oh do I now? Because you look pretty good in that red dress to me." He said cooly and led me out to the dance floor to watch Joe and Ruth.
I kissed him on the cheek. We watched Joe and Ruth dance their first time as a couple, and later Steven and I danced.
Around 2:00 p.m. the ceremony was over, we congratulated Ruth and Joe, and left so they could have alone time.
Now the big question remained: When would Steven propose to me?
~~~~
A/Q- So how was that? Sorry it was a little short, but I don't have much time so I hope y'all aren't mad at me! Bye
