Lisa's POV

I took the meatballs out of the oven and put them on the counter. Then I turned off the stove that had the pasta on it.

Ruth, Joe, and the band were coming over for dinner, so I decided to whip up a peach cobbler. It was a dish that I loved when I was a child, so I perfected the recipie. Then there was a knock at the door.

"I got it!" Steven said, getting off the coach and running to open the door.

Joe and Ruth walked in. "Oh. My. Gosh. What is that heavenly smell?!" They said at the same time, which made me giggle because they were so cute together.

"Oh I'm whipped up meatballs, spaghetti, and to top it all off... Peach cobbler!" I giggled

"Lisa you are the best!" She came over and have me a big hug. I looked over her shoulder and have Joe a big hug too.

"I missed you two!" I said over hugs

"Aw we did too!" Ruth said as Steven gave them hugs.

Just then there was another knock at the door. Steven opened it and the rest of the band came in. Joey, Brad, and Tom came in and all asked what the smell was, so I said the same thing.

"I am so glad to see you guys! We haven't all been together since..." I paused and cringed at the last time I saw the band together. I was tied up in my dad's car.

"Yeah... Well we missed you! How are you?" Joey said as he pulled me in for a hug, and gave me a friendly kiss on the cheek

"Yeah I have been good." I said, winking at Steven and he nodded back at me.

I hugged Tom then Brad last and led everyone to the dinning room.

"Alright let me go get the plates." I said as everyone say down.

I gave everyone a plate of meatballs and spaghetti, and extra for Steven because he has a big appetite.

"Thanks! This looks so good!" Tom said

"Thanks I hope y'all like it!" I said and sat next to Steven, who looked at me. He smiled and I winked back at him.

"Dig in. Tell me how it is." I said in almost a whisper to Steven

Everyone began to eat and then everyone was staring at me.

"What? Why are y'all all looking at me??" I said, starting to get worried

"Lisa. Oh my gosh. Are you kidding me? This is delicious! Where the fuck did you get so much talent?!" Steven said, laughing

I sighed in relief then giggled "Well I always helped my grandma cool, so I picked up a few tricks." I said winking at him, mimicking the line where he surprised me with a cookie at the gas station.

"Lisa this is amazing! I am so impressed!" Joe said

"Mmmhmm" Ruth agreed with Joe, with pasta in her mouth

I blushed "Thanks guys! Wait till you taste the cobbler!" I said as everyone finished up their spaghetti and I brought out the cobbler, slicing a piece on a new plate for everyone.

They took a bite and then looked at me like they just adopted a new baby puppy.

"Seriously y'all scare me when you look at me like that." I said then Ruth broke the silence

"You are too good! Very good job Lisa." Ruth said and everyone else nodded

I looked over at Steven who had been stuffing as much cobbler in his mouth at once that was humanly possible and burst out laughing as he looked up at me, managing a smile.

He swallowed it all and the said "Baby you are an amazing cook! Why didn't I know this before?"

"Well I never really made anything for you." I smiled

I loaded the dishwasher with all the dirty dishes and finally sat down on the couch, next to Steven who was grinning oddly wide at me.

"How about a scary movie?" I asked as everyone nodded their heads at me. I played 'Nightmare on Elm Street' and grabbed a blanket for Steven and I.

"Feel free to make yourselves at home! Blankets are all over this place." I said as I sat down and nuzzled me head into Steven's neck. He snaked a hand around my waist and pulled me close.

"Now what was that smile all about?" I said looking up at Steven

"This." he said as he lifted my chin up and kissed me.

I giggled and put my hand on his chest, and pulled the blanket over us. Steven's rubed my leg, and just as I looked back at the movie, there was a jump scare and I flipped shit. I let out a scream and Steven laughed.

Ruth jumped "Shit Lisa You sacred me more than the jump scare." she said with a laugh, and eveyone continued watching the movie.

"Baby it's ok. I got you." Steven whispered in my ear and instantly calmed me down. At that moment I relized I didn't need anything else to call me down. It was Steven. Steven was the answer.

"Alright bye guys! I'll talk to y'all soon!" I said as everyone left, and Steven closed the door behind us and pressed me up against the wall, kissing me passionately.

"Now that I got you alone..." Steven said

"What? What are you going to do?" I laughed

"I don't know, but it'll be bad" Steven said with a giggle as he pulled my shirt off, and I grabbed his belt buckle.
