Getting Ready for The Show

Lisa's POV

The last couple of days have completely changed my life. Just A few days ago I was running away from my home, catching a ride with Steven Tyler, and meeting up with Ruth, who I haven't seen face to face in 4 years.

I opened my eyes and looked at my bedside table clock.
'10:30 a.m.'
I swung my legs off the bed and walked into my bathroom. Man, was I a mess! I hopped in the shower and 30 minutes later I got out and blowdryed my hair.

The clothes I had were so old and raggy, so I found black high waisted jeans and walked out of my bedroom with a towel rapped around me.

"Hey Ruth do you have a nice shirt I can borrow? All my clothes are raggy and gross. We need to go shopping."

"Yeah sure come pick one out!" She lead me into her room and I picked out a purple tank.

"Thanks babe!" I gave her a smile and walked back to my room. I put on the shirt then applied my casual makeup: Eyeliner, Mascara, and Lip Gloss.

My stomach growled so I walked to the kitchen and fixed a cup of coffee with oatmeal.

Just then my phone rang from my bedroom. I ran past Ruth and into my bedroom.

Steven's POV

The band called me earlier and asked where I was. Oops. I left without them, but they understood. The rest of the band will be here today for our concert. I wonder if Lisa wanted to go...

I picked up my phone and called her. She picked up on the second ring.

"Hey Lisa how are things going? Did you sleep well?" I smiled.

"Yeah things are going well! I told Ruth everything about me running away and meeting you and stuff like that. She was excited and understood me. I slept so well last night! Ruth gave me a room and I didn't wake up until an hour ago! How crazy is that? That trip really took it out of me! Anyway, how did you sleep?" She sounded happy. I was so glad Ruth was ok with everything that happened because Lisa needs some support and I will also give that to her.

"Oh that's good you told her. I slept very well! Hey I accidentally left the rest of the band when I brought you here, so they called me up asking where I was. I explained and now they are on there way. Anyway, we have concert tonight and I would love it if you would come." She was holding something back but I couldn't quite tell what it was.

"Oh...uh..Ruth and I wanted to go out to dinner and chat some more, but you can call me anytime!" I was sad to hear she couldn't come but I guess she needed more time with Ruth.

"Well ok. You two enjoy dinner!"

Lisa's POV

"We will! Thanks for understanding. I'll call you later!" He said ok and we hung up the phone.

I lied to Steven. I was going to His concert, but I wanted to suprise him. It was at 7:30 p.m. And I was not going to miss it.

6:45 p.m.

"Ok Ruth we have to leave at 7:15 to get there in time! Let's go get ready!" I ran into Ruth's closet and grabbed a red crop top then ran back to my room.

I kept my high waisted jeans on and put the crop top on. I freshened up my makeup with Mascara, Red lip stick, a little blush, and a hint of perfume on my wrists, behind my ears, and in the back of my knees.

My tan wedges we barried at the bottom of my luggage, so I fished them out and put them on.

Now I was ready to go. I looked at the clock '7:10 p.m.' I ran out my bedroom grabbing my purse and phone.

"Come on Ruth we are going to be late!!" Ruth ran out her bedroom. I grabbed her then we ran out the door to her car.
'7:15 p.m.'
Just on time and now to go surprise Steven. He is going to be so happy. I thought to myself.
