Chapter 37.

It's not easy to love again. But if that person is not ready to take a chance it is impossible. Kehara does not want to give Aman a chance. Her fear is not letting her think straight. She does not want to accept that maybe she loves Aman. This is mostly because she is hundred percent sure Aman will never fall for someone like her. Why will he love or even like for that matter someone who was engaged to someone else. Who was once in love with someone else. Kehara thinks she does not deserve Aman because of those silly reasons. According to her Aman will never think of her and she will end up hurting herself. So she thought the best way to protect herself from it is to never accept that she has some feeling for him and pretend as if Aman never existed. 

Kehara is really good when it comes to ignoring. She is not even looking in the direction where Aman is standing. They all are at Aman, Sufyaan and Afzal's new office. All are happy and proud of them. Everyone is enjoying expect for two people. Kehara and Aman. Aman because she is ignoring him and Kehara because It's difficult to ignore someone who means a lot to you. Kehara's behaviour is not helping her. Aman is now thinking if he should tell his parents about Kehara or not. If she is ignoring him and does not like him then there is no point in involving their parents. Aman is lost in Kehara's thoughts so he did not notice Sufyaan is standing next to him and talking to him from past one minute.

"Aman are you listening?" Aman did not move so sufyaan slapped him. Aman looked up instantly.

"What are you doing!?"

"Where are you lost?"

Aman looked away not willing to answer. He is still not comfortable talking about Kehara to Sufyaan. Sufyaan understood he was thinking about Kehara and said " Why are you sad? What did Kehara do?" 

Aman smiled in response.

"Why are you smiling?"

"How do you know I was thinking about Kehara?" 

"We are best friends for a reason Aman! Now tell me what's wrong?"

Aman smiled before replying. "Sufyaan did you notice she is ignoring me?"

Sufyaan nodded. " Yes. So?"

"What so! If she is ignoring me that means she does not like me. There is no point in involving our parents and creating a mess."

Sufyaan was just staring Aman for few seconds before saying "Aman. There can be many reasons for ignoring a person. Not liking them is just one. And I'm sure she is ignoring for some other reason. Trust me I'm her brother and I know her. Send you parents Aman rest I will handle."

"Are you sure?" 

"Yes." 

"Ok. I will talk to my parents today and InshaAllah in few days they will come to meet your father. Till then you try to find out why is she behaving like this."

"Ok. Now fix your mood and Enjoy!"

Aman smiled and they both joined the rest of the gang.

Aman is sitting nervously in front of his parents. From the past fifteen minutes he is trying to talk to his parents. Noor and Dadajaan are on the couch next to Aman. Everyone is annoyed by now but Dadajaan is enjoying it. 

"Aman for the last time. What do you want!?" Mr khan asked not able to take it any more. 

"Dad actually. Huh dad." 

"Dad what?"

Aman bend towards his left and whispered "Dadajaan help." 

"No son. It's you battle."
