New Girl In The City

Chapter 52.

Salam! So today I reaslised that we only have two more chapters left!!! I'm going to miss Kehara and Aman!!! Enjoy:)

Kehara is sitting on Aman's bed, looking here and there aimlessly. It's been a week since the accident and Aman is still missing. Afzal,Sufyaan,Khurshid and Mr. Khan returned two days back. They could not find any information about him except his phone and bag. They left their numbers there with some NGO , who are helping the victims. so if they find any thing about Aman they will contact Sufyaan or Afzal. Dadajaan also came back with them. He was unaware of the fact that Aman is missing. Mr. Khan thought he will tell his father the truth once they reach home. But Dadajaan heard Afzal and Sufyaan talking . He could not take the news and was admitted in the hospital as soon as they returned back. 

Kehara is the only one who is positive and hopeful. But as  the days are passing she is starting to lose hope. Although she still has the feeling that Aman will come back and then she will kill him for making her go through all that but all the crying and negative thoughts of others are making her feeling that they could be right. Kehara rubbed  her hands with each other and then placed it on her eyes. After few Seconds she opened her eyes. She saw Aman's phone which is resting near her leg on the bed. She picked it up. As soon as she did that the phone started ringing. She decided to ignore the call as she is not in a mood to talk to someone. But few seconds later she realised maybe it is Aman. Then she wasted no time and picked up the call. 

But before she could say anything the other person started talking. 

"Aman !!!Where are you?Why were you not picking up my call?Now listen I'm going to An Europe tour today so  please take your property from me. I'm standing outside your house come fast." 

Before Kehara could reply he disconnected the call. Kehara looked down at the phone for few seconds in confusion. She got up from the bed fixed her hijab and Started walking. Mrs. Khan who is sitting in the living room with Noor saw Kehara going towards the door and called her. Kehara stopped and started walking towards the living room . once she entered the room Mrs. Khan asked, 

"Kehara where are you going?"

Kehara opened her mouth to explain but she saw Noor and Mrs.Khan were looking behind her so she turned back. Mr. Khan entered with a stranger.

"This boy was standing outside ,waiting for Aman."

"John." Mrs.Khan said standing up. when Mr. Khan gave her a confused look she explained." He is Aman's school friend. And John he is Aman's father." She said pointing towards her husband and john nodded. "How are you ?". 

"I'm fine Mrs.Khan. How are you? Can you please ask Aman to come and collect this."He extended a small box towards her.

"I'm fine.And What is it?" Mrs.Khan asked.

"If you remember my father owes a jewellery shop. some ten days back he came there and ordered a ring for his wife as a wedding gift. Well a walimba gift as he said."

"Walima." Mrs. Khan corrected him. 

"Oh yes walima gift. He said he will collect it once he is back from Arizona if I'm not wrong. That day I was there as well. So when Aman did not show up my dad gave me this ring to give him. But for some weird reason he was not picking up my call. And from the past three days I was busy with my packing and preparation for Europe. so I did not call him. But today I'm leaving for a month long Europe tour. So I decided to give him this ring before going." He checked his wrist watch "I'm really late. So I will leave now.Please give this ring to Aman and Tell him to call me when he is free." He extended the box towards Mr.Khan and he took it." I will leave now. It was nice meeting you all. Have a nice day."
