I walked with Rick, Carl, and my dad In the woods as we look for Sophia. I watched my best friend Carl try to talk to my dad, Shane Walsh.
My dad ignores Carl, he looks at the ground and walks over to me.
"Sally, why is your dad mad at me" Carl asked sadly. I didn't know why to be honest.
"Maybe he's just upset we haven't found Sophia yet" I answer with little hope in my voice.
We all froze as we saw something we thought we'd never see again
A deer.
I approached it ignoring Carl's and my dad's calls for me to stay behind. I smile as I was about to pet the deer.
I fall to the ground with a sharp pain in my side. My blood soaked my shirt as I pass out,
The last thing I saw was carl, rick, and my dad rush over to me.
-time skip-
I wake up to see rick and Carl sitting beside me, but my dad wasn't there.
"Rick, where are we" I ask. He looks up and smiles at me.
"We're on a farm" he tells me. I look around and still don't see my dad.
"Where's my dad" I ask a little saddened.
"He's still a little freaked out" Rick replied. He pushed his chair up, standing and walking to the door. Carl sat down in the chair holding my hand.
"I thought you were gonna die out there" he said with tears running down his face.
"I didn't though" I told him. He stared at me before putting his lips on mine. I was a little shock but happy knowing I had a major crush on my best friend I've known for years.
I was finally happy.
