The next day me and Harvey went to Disneyland. Actually, me and my family and Jonas' family and Harvey's family went to Disneyland but we just stuck together.
I decided to just let Jonas talk to me.
So when he pulled me away from our families I folded my arms and told him he had a minute to give me a reasonable explanation or else.
'Well, I was texting when you left and when I looked up this girl was in your seat and she shook my hand, I didn't really like it when she still held on to it. Then she kissed my cheek and I wiped it off when she wasn't looking. And I was planning to buy you a bigger ice cream. You didn't see that, did you? You just walked away.'
'Then why did you say she looked at me?' I said.
'Because you won't let me fully explain.'
I sighed and stood on my tip-toes and gave him a peck on the lips. He smiled.
'I forgive you.'
So we walked hand-in-hand.
'Thank you,' I whispered to Harvey, who gave me a thumbs-up. But he was flaming red. I don't get it. Was he...jealous? But why?
We went on some of the rides there and they were really fun and I laughed a lot. And then we went to McDonald's for lunch and when I ordered a Big Mac and fries Jonas did too though he told me he doesn't like burgers sometimes. And he gave me his burger and I gave him my fries. And I bought him another pack of fries and a strawberry milkshake. He smiled gratefully and began to chat with Harvey when the same girl I had seen with Jonas at the ice cream place walked in. I looked silly compared to her. She had on a crpp top with an adjoining shiny miniskirt and heels. On the other hand, I had a black tank top, denim shorts and black vans. I began to shiver at the sight of her and Jonas wrapped his sweater around me.
'Thanks,' I said.
He and the girl saw each other and she waved but he didn't wave back. Then she had the nerve to come sit at our booth (or whatever that long line of chairs are, the ones with the big table in the middle)...right next to Jonas. So he was sandwiched in between the two of us.
She introduced herself.
'Hey everyone! I'm Sandra,' she chirped. Harvey raised a brow at me and I nodded. Paul wasn't paying attention. Jonas scooted closer to me. Sandra just thought he was making space for her and scooted too so she was practically on his lap.
'Uh, mum, dad, we're going to a different booth,' he said, standing up and taking my hand. Blake and Callie and  Harvey and his siblings followed.
'Who's she?' Blake asked dreamily.
'Snap out of it!' Jonas said. 'That's Sandra. The idiot who we met when we went to get ice cream, Blake. Remember?'
I was uncomfortable and pursed my lips.
Then she had the guts to come and sit at our booth again.
'Hi!' she squealed. She winked at Jonas.
I wished that she could go away. I wished that she was really sand. So all the jocks from school could come and trample her.
