One Week Later
'Nooooo! Give it to meeeee!'
Paul and I were currently in the living room playing on the Wii. I took the first player remote and he had shrieked.
I stuck my tongue out at him and shook my head. He pouted.
'You look -cough-ugly-cough-when you do that,' I said jokingly. I sipped my hot chocolate from Starbucks and laughed as he tried taking a sip. Finally I gave in and let him take the whole drink.
'Tank woo,' he said in a baby voice. I hit his shoulder and he sent me death glares.
'I'm a cuter baby than woo are,' I said.
'Oh it's on,' he said. 'Baby fight!'
We went on hitting each other with our hands until I got a text from Jonas:
     Hey! Wanna hang out? Xxxxxx

Sure, I replied.

How about the park? X

Ten minutes later Paul had driven me to the park. I saw Jonas sitting on a bench, feeding some ducks. His face broke into a smile when he saw me.
'You look pretty,' he said. I blushed. He was wearing a black top, a red and black flannel, black skinny jeans and black vans. I, on the other hand, was in a black top, a sweatshirt, denim shorts and gladiator sandals. 'Thanks, you too,' I replied.
He nodded and smiled,  patting the space beside him, where I sat down.
'So, ' he said. 'I've been dying to tell you something.'
'Hm?' I asked.
'I've liked you for a long time, Gem,' he said. 'Ever since that day I bumped into you at Starbucks.'
I was lost for words.
'I-I like you too,' I stuttered. I knew where this was going.
'G-Gemma, w-will you be my...g-girlfriend?'
I was silent for a second.
'Yes! Of course!' I screamed.
He beamed and gave me a bone-crushing hug.

'What movie do you wanna watch?' Jonas asked. I poked my head out of the kitchen door and shrugged. 'Any you wanna watch,' I said.
'Okay,' he said, giving me that heart-warming smile of his.
I went and microwaved some popcorn and made a huge ice cream sundae-vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, mint and cotton candy ice cream, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce, syrup, sprinkles and Oreo cookies.
'Yum,' Jonas said once I walked out of the kitchen with our food. There were blankets, pillows and other soft stuff on the recliner and Pitch Perfect was on his laptop.
I sat beside him on the recliner and he slung his arm around my shoulders. I snuggled into his chest. It felt perfect.
