Days later me and Jonas had grown closer. We went for ice cream and pizza together, we went to Starbucks together, to the park, on rollercoasters, to fairs and other stuff. He told me that he has a twin brother, Blake, and an older sister Callie. I started at my new school, which, luckily, Jonas attended too. I sat with him in the cafeteria and met a lot of people, Harvey, Ariel, Jordan, Brianna and Joey. Ariel, Jordan, Brianna and I got really close and were soon best friends, hanging out in the halls, having sleepovers, telling all our secrets. They told me about their boyfriends and their other friends and I liked the sound of them. They sounded friendly.
One Week Later
I was sitting on the couch in the living room when some keys jangled in the front door and Jonas walked in. His brown hair was slightly tousled. He smiled.
'Hey,' I said, grinning. He sat next to me and played with my hair, then decided to watch some Netflix with me. He didn't seem like his usual bubbly self.
We watched different movies and I got a text on my phone:
Hey, my Gem! How are you? Hope ur having a good day!!! I'm on my way btw-Jonas xxxx
I smiled. Then it faded. Jonas was right next to me.
'Did you just send me a text?' I asked him, raising a brow.
'No, I left my phone at home. It was probably Blake messing around,' Jonas replied. He pressed his lips to mine and I rolled my eyes.
Suddenly more keys in the door.
It creaked open. I didn't see who it was.
'BLAKE!'
