{Saraji Carson}
Mama: where r u
Mama: y r u ignoring yr family
Mama: Simi, Lala, and Zo really want to see u
Mama: they keep asking abt u
Mama: domo misses mommy
Lozo: where ya ass was at when a nigga pulled up to the house
Where ya ass was at when a nigga parked the car and got out
Where were you, when ma was in the kitchen and she said she needed help
She told me that the table ain't gon set itself
Where ya ass was at when dad was praying over the food
Fuck where you was at just get here soonAlthough I was on the verge of tears, I couldn't help but laugh at Lorenzo's crazy ass. He really just remixed Future and Drake's song like that. He is and will always be my favorite brother. He would check on me every single day after he moved out of our parent's house. I wasn't always truthful with him though. If I was, I'm pretty sure Jason would be dead.
He's the second to oldest at twenty six years old. Simeon, my other brother, will be twenty four in a few months. The bitch is the oldest.
Daddykinz: Where are you? Your mother is worried dick.
Daddykinz: SICK! I MEANT SICK SARAJI. I DON'T KNOW WHY IT CHANGED MY WORD.
I don't think dad really understands how auto correct works.
Daddykinz: your mother is disappointed. she wanted all her kids to be here for dinner.
I deeply exhaled. Why is it so important that I'm there? I just can't... I don't think I can face her right now. Not after what she did to me.
"I need a distraction."
Although Amir didn't text me back, I tried to call him. I just really need somebody right now. Somebody who knows how to be serious.
When he didn't answer the first time, I tried calling him again. This time I texted him and told him I really needed to talk. A sense of relief washed over me when he finally answered me.
"Wassup, wassup, wasssssssup!" He channeled his inner Martin.
I briefly looked at my phone before putting it back to my ear.
"Amir are you feeling alright?
"Oh hell yeah. I'm feeling mighty nice. What about you, beauty?"
"I'm..."
"Beauty is her naaaaammme!" He sung into the phone as he snapped his fingers off beat.
"Are you drunk Amir? Don't lie to me."
His end when silent for at least three minutes until he busted out laughing.
"Amir! I'm not playing with you right now. Are you drunk?"
"Umm no, beautiful one. Me knows how to hold Amir's liquor."
This nigga is beyond drunk. Why would he poison his system like that?
"You sound sad. What for? Want Amir to come get you?"
That would be the worst thing for him to do right now. Clearly he's been drinking. Something bad could happen to him. He's one of the only real friends that I have. I would hate for him to get hurt because of me.
"I'm coming to you. Are you at home?"
"An apartment is not a home, a-"
"Amir!" Rubbing my temple, I sighed. "Are you at your apartment?"
