Everything happened so fast. One minute I was in my parent's home, the next moment I'm right back at the hospital.
I was told that after Lorenzo shot twice, only one bullet hit Jason. Even though Jason was hit, he threw my baby on the floor then he turned around and started attacking me. When Lorenzo attempted to jump in, Jason put me in a head lock and threatened to snap my neck. The way his arm was pushing against my neck made it hard for me to breathe.
Luckily for me, the police burst through the door less than ten minutes after that. Lorenzo was taken to jail, but he will be released once the police investigates and review mine and Nichelle's statements hopefully. Jason knew that he was not wanted at my parent's house but he showed up anyway.
My poor little baby girl has a broken arm because of the way she landed on the floor. They want to keep her for a day or two just to make absolute sure that nothing else is going on with her.
My baby girl didn't deserve this at all. Sadly, she'll have to grow up without a her father in her life. That man treated her like a little rag doll just so he could abuse me. I would be a liar if I said it hadn't happened before. It happened on the night that I left his ass. It's one thing to abuse me, but he was not about to make putting his hands on her a habit. Enough was enough. I'll be putting a restraining order on him so he can't come around neither one of us.
"Good morning beautiful." Even though she was still sleeping, I spoke to her. I kissed her cheek then held on to her little hand. It truly hurts to see my baby this way.
"Mommy will be back later." Tears blurred my vision. "I'm really sorry for putting you through this, love. Things will get better."
I kissed her hand multiple times before finally leaving the room. I went down to the ground level then went outside for some fresh air.
I sat outside for maybe thirty minutes before my phone started going off. When I looked to see who it was, it was Nichelle. She insisted on coming out to the hospital with me early this mprning, but a declined. I let her take my Charger and go home so she could sleep. We still haven't had the chance to go back by the job to get her car.
ChellyPooh: hey girl, how are you?
Me: I'm okay.
Biggest lie that I always tell...
ChellyPooh: were u able to get any sleep?
Me: maybe two or three hours at the most. I made sure Domo was fully taken care of first.
ChellyPooh: respect, respect. so, I kno u have ur own thing goin on, but u were right. walked in on Bri taking pics of Amir.
I tried to tell her! See I knew it was something off about Bri. No, I don't know her well, but I know that she had been acting weird the past few days.
Me: what did you do?
ChellyPooh: took her phone. we are on our way outside so we can talk about this.
Before I had the chance to reply, I seen her and Bri walk out the hospital. I was sitting off to the side, but they still noticed me. Chelle started walking in my direction but Bri stood still with her arms against her chest. Chelle had to tug on her arm to get her to come over to me. Really, I'm not in the mood for her stank ass attitude. This convo may just take my mind off what happened to my baby girl for a while though.
"You have a lot of explaining to do." Chelle said as she motioned for Bri to sit down.
As soon as Bri sat down I got up and stood by Chelle.
"You two aren't going to gang up on me. What if y'all try to jump me?"
Then we would beat your ass, duh. What kind of dumb ass question was that?
