*Author's Note*

Once again, thank you all. Your niceness (if it's not a real word, I just made it up) is unfathomable and something out of a dream... or a fairytale. And Lucyheartfilia334, I am working on that new story, but I want to finish uploading all of this one before I start uploading that one, alright? Thank you for being so understanding of everything. Okay, here's the part you all wanted.

*Fionna's POV*

We stared at each other for a minute. He wouldn't, I knew it all along. But then the memory of Marshall in the Cinderella adventure came to my mind (well, Amnesia-Marshall) and I believed it a lot more than I wanted to.
"So what's it going to be, Fi?" He asked quietly.
"Marshall, don't be like this. You're not the villain." I responded.

He frowned, and pulled me back over to the bed, before sitting down and yanking me onto his lap. "You don't get it. I have waited for so long for you to like me back, and now... I couldn't ever bear it if I let you slip through my fingers again."
I hugged him softly, and he stiffened.
"That doesn't mean you need to kidnap me, or be all sociopathic about it. Let's just take it slow right now, okay?" I asked, remembering the lipstick kisses he had on him only two days ago.

He nodded slowly, considering it. "I'm sorry I scared you just now, but I... look, Fi. I take oppurtunities when I can get them. Everyone does."
"Not me."
"It's human nature. Unless there's something big that you're passing it up for, you take oppurtunities when they come as well. I just happen to be a little more aggressive about it." He smirked.

I frowned. "You threatened to kidnap me if I didn't come with you. How was that an oppurtunity for you?"
He brushed a strand of hair that had gotten loose from my hat behind my ear. "One, you had your guard down over the Ashley thing. And just so you know- she means absolutely nothing to me. You are just perfect, and she... I never felt about her the way I feel about you. Two, I knew you'd give in. All I had to do was sweet-talk you into it, after giving you my ultimatum."

"What do you mean, 'sweet-talk'? You just threatened me." I said, leaning into him.
He chuckled softly, before pulling my hat off and letting my hair tumble down. "I'd say something like, 'I'll never hurt you, because you're the sunshine I can touch. You don't even come close to burning me, though you do make me feel great inside, just when I look at you. I never, ever wanted to hurt you, I just... I needed you to come with me. I need you to be mine, and no one else's. That's not so bad, right?' And other things like that."

"I am yours." I muttered. "You don't need to threaten or coax me into your arms. I was just upset about the Ashley thing, because I thought... well, you know what I thought-"
"No, I don't. Tell me." He said softly, running his hand through my hair.
"I thought you had lied to me in the tower. I thought you loved her, not me, and it was the most painful thing I've ever experienced. I thought she had you, instead of me. I'm sorry I put you through that with Gumball..."

"Oh, Fi..." He said, nuzzling me. "I could never love Ashley like I love you. I thought I loved her once, but she... well, she and I just... we were never a good fit, in other words. You don't need to worry about her."
"Okay, thanks for telling me that. But I don't... you're sure everything's broken off with her?"
Marshall laughed quietly. "Um... I'd say so. She seemed pretty surprised when I called her."

"But she knows that...?" I asked. Oh my Glob, I'm getting even more possessive than him!
"Trust me, Fi. I told her in the nicest possible way that it was never going to happen again, the spark had gone, I forget what I told her to try and make her leave us alone. Then I lost my temper, and nearly got zapped."
"That explains the fox ears." I murmured.
"WHAT?!" Marshall said, feeling his head.

I grinned at him. "Consider it payback for all those times you scared me."
"That wasn't funny, Fi." He said, but he was grinning too.
"Maybe." I shrugged.
He kissed me softly. It was better than the kisses before- in the fairytales.
"I'm not sure if that counts as your first kiss, but it was pretty good for a beginner." He smirked. "Now, what do you say we... practice?"

"Marshall- Cake would kill me if she found out!" I hissed.
"No- she'd kill me." He pointed out, kissing me more urgently. "You, however, would be grounded for life. Anyway, want to watch a movie?"
I smiled in spite of myself. "Let me guess- you want a strawberry shake?"
He nodded, grinning. "You know me so well. And I don't even have to beg you for it."

"It's tradition- every time we watch a movie at my house, I make us strawberry shakes, every time we watch a movie at your house, you make popcorn."
He wrapped his arms around my waist. "How about we make some new traditions?" He asked me quietly.
I blushed and nodded. "As long as they're not too... yeah."
He nodded. "I'm not going to pressure you into anything you don't want to do, just so you know. But, would I be moving too fast if I asked for make out sessions during the movie?"

"No, of course not."
He grinned. "Excellent."

*Another Author's Note, because I am EVIL*

So, I stretched this out. Originally, she was just like, 'are you still interested in your ex?'
'No.'
'Okay then. Let's watch a movie.'
'Cool.'

Now, doesn't the padding make it much more romantic? And drags it out? Oh- speaking of dragging things out, you're probably wondering where Olivia is. I just... you'll see. In two chapters. It's... it's not particularly nice... in fact, if I liked Olivia as much as I personally do, and was a reader instead of the author, I'd want to punch said author.
