Lothal, Black Market, 1131 am (making this up)
Ezra's POV
I walked around the Lothal markets, not wanting Kanan to feel my emotions and know where I was at. I had some business to take care of with some people who didn't like me very much since I was 13. I kept the Force flowing through him to sense danger, but kept calm as to not alert Kanan. I really didn't need him here knowing I was in danger. With my mind preoccupied, I didn't realize that there were enemies until they dropped down from the roofs. The roofs, of course, I growled in my thoughts. ''Hey guys,'' I greeted sheepishly. ''How are you all?''
A muscular male growled, ''Cut the chatter. You know why we're here. Pay up.''
I negotiated, ''Listen, boys, I can't pay up right now, but I'll-''
The other male shook his head. ''We want it now.'' He was about to pull a blaster out of its holster when I used the Force to push him back, then turned to kick the gun out of the other man's hand. I didn't notice that the other man had got back up until I felt a blaster handle crack against my head. I heard laughter, then I knew nothing.
Kanan's POV
It was a simple mission until I felt a prick of fear come through the bond with Ezra. Something's wrong, I thought as I ran to Ezra's Force signature. When I arrived, I saw Ezra drop and two men laughing. ''A Jedi! He'll get me a profit, all right!'' the taller one laughed.
The shorter, more muscular one corrected, ''We share the profit on him, remember?''
''No one's getting profit,'' I growled, causing the two to turn in surprise. I Force-pushed the one and took out my lightsaber to block the blaster bolts from the other. I slid over to Ezra's body, realized that he was only unconscious, then grabbed his lightsaber to block the other man's blaster fire. ''Is that all you've got?'' I asked, cleaving the tall man's blaster. The two ran when they saw what a Jedi could do. I walked over to Ezra, sighed, then slung him over my shoulder and ran toward the Ghost.
I'll get some funny ones eventually, but please give me some ideas.
