Night is Young

Capital City, Lothal, 2027 pm

     Ezra decided to take Sabine to a cantina that was having a dance night. If everything went well, there would be no Imperial trouble. If there is, well, they'll worry about that then. He led her into the cantina where many couples were out on the floor and some were having drinks. A song had just finished, and a new one was beginning to play, one that Ezra and Sabine both knew.

Ezra: ''Why you standing over there

               Acting like you just don't care

               We could make our own kind of music.''

Sabine: ''We might come from different worlds

                   Might not be your kind of girl

                   But I just wanna let go and lose it.''

Ezra: ''We are lost and found.''

Sabine: ''So let's go turn the beat around.''

Ezra: ''And maybe find a new sound.''

Sabine: ''So let's turn the beat around right now,''

Ezra: ''Because the night is young.''

Sabine: ''And it's just begun.''

Ezra: ''Let's get it started,''

Sabine: ''Get it started.''

Ezra: ''And go till the sun comes up.'' *mumbles* ''That's gonna get us killed.

Sabine: ''The night is young.'' *answers Ezra* ''Definitely.''

Sabine: *mumbles* ''Me too.'' *sings* ''Be who you wanna be

     By the time the song was over, the two had sang and danced their way across the floor, forgetting about everyone else, only hearing the music, themselves, and seeing only each other. They stood breathless, hands on their knees, while applause thundered around them. Ezra asked, rubbing his neck, ''Did they hear us?''

     Sabine answered, ''I think they did.'' Ezra sensed a dark aura coming towards them, and knew it was Imperials. 

     ''Karabast!'' he cursed. ''Sabine, Imperials are on the way through the crowd. This is about to get bad.''
